Not required but since I live with my stepdad for now and he was basically concerned about it that I did it months ago and so has most at my job so we don’t need to worry about it, I’ve never gotten Covid ever before that but some people were concerned it since I’ve been working the whole time since it all started because I’m an essential worker
Not required but I wanted to enjoy life and smiling again. So I’m fully vaccinated, and honestly my mental health has been doing so much better not having to wear a mask, I can smile again, and people can see my smile again.
Nope, not required yet. I'll get it when I'm either forced or when it gets FDA approved. Whichever comes first. People who are vaccinated have different privileges though so we'll see.
@Red_Arrow The procedure here in the UK is obviously somewhat different to how it's applied in the USA. Here it is organised on an age related basis (elderly first), the highly vulnerable and those working on frontline duties... After this, you then become eligible and are invited to attend as and when your age group becomes applicable.
That is pretty much the way it works here. Not different at all. We have vaccination events all over the place and quite often. One place we have them is at a major airport where one parking lot is turned into a vaccination site every weekend, with many paid workers and hundreds more volunteers. The event is put on by one of our major hospitals. And there are several other events similar going on almost daily. Notifications are sent to out phones on events several times a day. Pretty much anyone who wants to be vaccinated can pick a place and time and get it.
In my state there’s no mask mandates and no required vaccinations. But they’re still throwing it out in the local news for optional vaccinations cause of health officials.
It's not mandatory yet, but I think it will eventually. Vaccination appointments for my age group opened a few days ago and I'll be vaccinated when I have time.
Not a good thing to do in the first place. Better to focus on get it to those that want's to take it. Even some that want to take it will refuse to take it because they get forced. ( basic human behavior like look att something they get told not to do )
I, too, am vaccinated, but know that those who are immune by whatever means can still carry the virus and infect others. In my family there are at risk members due to health problems, so I still wear a mask when at work or in places where people gather, like stores. Plus there have been some recent cases of vaccinated people still getting it. Stay with the mask!
@Red_Arrow same. My mom and sister along with me are very high risk due to diseases we all have. So I'm trying to stay as healthy as I can and if the mask helps then I'll wear it as often as I can
The virus is still present and infecting millions around the world. In the USA there is less spread, but it does happen. And new variants keep happening and some may not be stopped by the vaccines. We are still in danger until it is almost completely wiped out.
I'm required to get one by my college, and my state does not have a personal exemption, so I will probably submit a fake religious exemption to get out of it.
I wasn't required to, but I was forced to in able for my wife to get the vaccine (she is a cancer survivor and we didn't want to take chances with her health) when the company I work for organized a clinic for employees and their spouses. So for her to get it, I had to get it. Otherwise we were looking at a schedule 6 months down the road at the time for her to get one.
It's not required where I'm at and I'm not interested in going anywhere it's required. I still beleive beyond the shadow of a doubt this whole thing was drastically overblown for power, control and money. Outside of TV and Social Media, there's hardly any real world evidence of the damn virus. Now we're no longer require to wear the mask thank God🙏🏾
Had my second dose of Pfizer in March. It was a voluntary decision by me, and I did have some concerns about the lack of testing, but I am president of my congregation and I need to set an example for others.
What does "required" mean, anyway? You still have the choice not to have the jab, you just don't get to go to school/work/whatever, if they choose to keep their people safe.

I am a teacher and in my state we got moved to the front of the line along with healthcare workers. I got vaccinated a long time ago. Nobody required any of us to get the shot and as far as I know t will not be a requirement in the fall.
Not required... but it's free so I did it anyways. When I was in the military though I was required to get vaccinated for anthrax, smallpox, etc... so I was like fuck it. Why not?
I am not required to get it and you'd have more luck forcing my to cut my hair then to get me to take the vaccine by force, and no one is coming within an inch of my hair I promise you.
That being said I will willingly get it but right now I have finals and can't really afford a single day of symptoms
That’s not called a law. That’s called a suggestion. I recommend become aware how laws are written. No where in U. S can jab become lethal. PS they’re lethal injection. But for some won’t show immediate response!

Ya that’s kinda bullshit isn’t it. I’m glad Texas had outlawed that crap.
I watched a couple next door got the Covid. The guy was like 30. He blew his lungs. Now he could breath normal anymore.
I took the jab as soon as they let me.
Personally at the present time it is not a mandatory requirement, however I am waiting patiently in line for my turn.
Why so long? There are vaccination events all over and have been for a long time.

No, I'm not required by anyone. I was supposed to receive the vaccine in July or August but I'm not sure if I'm going to take it.

Depends on where in the world we live.

It wasn't a requirement but I got the shot regardless.
Gott to love it. Some fool down voted my comment.
Nope I got it because I wanted to be protected and still also wear my mask as an added precaution to the virus. I can't afford to get sick so

@Red_Arrow which sadly I don't see happening anytime soon

I’m self-employed I decide if I want to get the shot or not and I did decide yes on it. What about you have you gotten the vaccine yet?
Had my second dose of Pfizer in March. It was a voluntary decision by me, and I did have some concerns about the lack of testing, but I am president of my congregation and I need to set an example for others.
Good job i’ve had no side effects at all got my second shot June 2
