A cop murdered a 17yo white boy a few days ago in Arkansas. Are you going to protest and demand justice?

The boy on the left was 17-year old Hunter Brittain. On Wednesday a sheriff in Arkansas pulled him over. When his truck wouldn’t go into park he got out to put something behind his tires, to stop the truck from hitting the cop's car. The cop suddenly opened fire and killed him.

He's not going to get justice, since he had the wrong combo of skin color + gender just like Daniel Shaver, whose murderer got away with that. And unlike #GeorgeFloyd.

What's your opinion of such an incident of #PoliceBrutality?

All these people saying it's white people's fault for not protesting are missing the point. There is a false perception that blacks are disproportionally killed by police but that is false. The official statistics show blacks are not killed at a higher rate than whites, but people think they are because we rarely hear about it when it happens to a white person because our biased media doesn't even mention it.

Yes, there is a problem with police in the US, but it is NOT race based. But that doesn't support the Left's narrative so the media continues painting a false picture of a racist police force.

Unfortunately, when the victim is white, people just look at it as yet another case of brutality but when any other race is involved the default assumption is that racism was the motive. I am White and I have been a victim of police brutality and that was over 20 years ago and no lawyer would take my case out of fear of retaliation by police.

I think you´re cops need better training in general. Where I come from cops are told and trained to pull you over without even thinking to need their gun because they train regularly to recognize the situation they´re in.

Protests are a fickle matter. You can't make people care. George Floyd was a one in a million shot record on a 17 year old phone. Against all odds a single person gave a fuck. against all odds a hundred more gave a single fuck. against all odds thousands, then millions, then the world gave a single fuck.

Protests are not fairly disturbed. That's not the point. It's not a contradictory to have one protest and not available for another. It was a one in a million shot to begin with. Why discredit it when we already know its a common problem? Why dilute ourselves on everything and get nothing done? While a one in a million is breaking the tradition, breaking the norm, and try to do some level of good.

Injustice for one is Injustice for all has been my main stance. With this one case of George Floyd police accountability will be standard protection for all Americans.

I'm mostly white ( quarter alaska native.) Police having accountability will protect everyone. In our life time it was illegal to film Police at all, that's fucking lunacy today. So body cams and everyone having a cell phone is acceptably that is fundamental new in the grand scheme of amarican justice that is fundamental better for all Americans.
