Handing out a piece of paper, however silly or profound it may be, does not constitute treason by the constitutional definition. Nonsense perhaps, but not treason.

In any case, really, isn't it time to put the Trump chew toy away. The nation is facing serious economic and social challenges and yet some segment continues to clutch at their pearls at the mere mention of the former President's name.

Sir, like it or not, that document would be protected under the First Amendment. The history of the constitutional term "treason" having been long ago defined and this not qualifying.

Further, you may not have noted the irony, but when you were pressed on the point your reply was, in so many words, "Well, the other side would say it was treason were the shoe on the other foot."
