It seems as if self respect, class and dignity became a myth and if you refuse to conduct and represent yourself in such a manner, than you get overlooked and ignored.
We live in a sex obsessed world that any sort of inappropriate promiscuous behavior is encouraged and embraced back in the day people were taught to have self-respect and self dignity and self-worth. I'll give some examples.
Twerking: twerking is the most popular sexual dance that many women nowadays do not that there is anything wrong with twerking but I think it is completely overdone to the point where women are now twerking and dancing very nasty in public places such as restaurants, bars and any other non dancing places that would consider that behavior to be inappropriate and you also see a lot of women on social media twerking in booty shorts half naked and even demeaning themselves in rap music videos to the point where any time you go on to social media or watch a music video there is always women dancing in such a way in making themselves look like whores conducting themselves like whores.
Not to say that this type of behavior is a new but I believe that it has gotten worse so far to where's as though women embrace calling themselves derogatory names like bitch and THOT but then claim that they are not those kind of women that they call themselves you have women posting half naked pictures on social media representing themselves as promiscuous whores.
Female artists such as Whitney Houston, Aaliyah, Faith Evans etc did not have to be half naked and twerking everywhere in order to be noticed and gain respect and I believe hip hop culture is partially responsible for that because they heavily promote these type of women that also influence young little girls to behave this way before they are even teenagers and it is sad it seems like people do not believe in self-respect anymore and believe that in order to be sexy and beautiful and respect it, you have to be half naked and Ratchet.
