Took the test twice, answered honestly to the best of my ability

Quite shocked, but not really too surprised

I’ve always considered myself conservative, but perhaps it’s more in PERSONALITY & CHARACTER as opposed to actual policy

I’ve always seen liberal men stereotyped as cowards, nerds, wimpy, unmanly, etc.

This wasn’t me and I didn’t want to associate with that.

Really, there’s only 2 or 3 things I’m quite conservative about.

A lot of the questions lead you into a certain position... and the test is obviously designed by a liberal the way some of the questions are asks... At least that's what I remember from the last time I took it. After this last election, I think I'm embracing authoritarianism, so this should be different. Alright, starting the test... now.

The first question kinda pisses me off... "If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations." Like... what? Why would anyone specifically choose to support trans-national corporations over humanity when humanity includes people who work in corperations?

If it's the same test I took a year or two ago (which used that graphic), I got more or less the same placement. But an accurate placement would be mirrored on the Y axis. I'm not stating this definitively, but sometimes I wonder if the questions were worded in such a way that skews the results to the left.

I'm an independent classical liberal not a social democrat/progressive/communist that pretends to be a liberal… There is a huge difference between liberalism that was embodied by the founding fathers and modern minds like Mises, and those communists that brand themselves as liberals for camouflage to avoid the backlash that comes with being a communist authoritarian in America.
