You’re missing a lot of points. One being that it didn’t happen that long ago. It’s only 140 years ago. That means there’s still grand children of slavery alive. Not to mention the amount of burden that black people still had after they were freed. And the continued injustice.

this is mostly the racist white people who are at fault. Not every white person is racist because there were many that helped freed the slaves.

Slavery went on for thousands of years, impacted lots of different ethnicities. Scandinavians had Irish slaves, Romans had slaves, the Egyptians had slaves, Royalty had slaves. It’s a fact of history can anybody change it, no all we can do is learn from it.
