Fuck no I love America I hate the people running the United States but I wouldn’t betray her for the world (or Japan) better dead then red (not republicans communist)
I’m ashamed of Americans who have rejected the greatness of this country and embrace Marxism, socialism, and communism.
No, never actually.
You can talk bad about EVERY country and EVERY race, and ethnicity at ANY time in human history.
Humans can be both saints and devils.
I'm very proud to be an American! I'm extremely embarrassed about how Biden lacks leadership qualities and his administration is damaging the economy, but I've never been ashamed of America!
I am not a American but you really start getting more to be ashamed of then proud of. Your so ignorent of the progress other countries do that you can't see that your falling behind in most areas.
No, but then I'm not Andrew Jackson, or any other person who did anything worth being ashamed of for that matter.
Why should anyone be ashamed for things they didn't do?
That kind of mentality is stupid.
Nope, I'm not ashamed for the actions of my ancestors, because in today's society it has nothing to do with me. I can't control what happened in the past, I can only learn from history and strive to make a better tomorrow.
Yes, that is why I moved from there. Trump being elected president was the breaking point for me.
You won’t be missed.
yeah, dont come back
These guys saying “you won’t be missed” and “don’t come back” are part of the reason this country is becoming toxic for Americans.
@jay3344
You can gtfo too.
This country is toxic for Americans but fine for you commies now.
@Jay3344
No. It's people who hate their country, but have never been outside it before, to know what the rest of the world is like. I at least commend this female for putting her money where her mouth is though and leaving, unlike the rest of these whining bitches who complain about the US, while Hong Kong gets their rights taken away from them, Uyghur Muslims in China are held in internment camps, and most of Africa lives in poverty and war.
Seriously, you whining fucks have no idea how good you have it. This chick at least left the US though, leaving room for hard-working and gracious legal immigrants to come in and thank God they escaped North Korea or being killed in whatever other third world craphole they came from. That's more than most of you are willing to do. I'm not even living in the US right now, and I have more appreciation for it than most of you Communist retards.
@Jay3344 cowards run.
@Cheechee4me this is what I mean. Just because I speak my mind about morons who hate, I’m told to leave.
@MCheetah I have been outside the US many times and enjoy this country very much. I’m just saying that there is a growing subsection of intolerant people who cheer when others leave because of the growing political differences. It’s a shame to me that a country like this can spawn such unflinching hubris.
Demonized for dissent
@Jay3344
I can respect that opinion. I'd just rather have people who appreciate the country their in, than those living First World lifestyles while millions around the world have to suffer for being unlucky enough to be born in a craphole country. I know the world isn't fair, but these snowflakes whining about AmeriKKKa need to spend a week in Syria or North Korea and shut the f*ck up. They really are talking about of their asses.
country *they're in
@MCheetah respect is what’s needed. People are mad in this country for a reason and it would be good to hear each other out and discuss rather than cheer for peopling leaving. Or tell others to leave when they speak up. I mean it’s one of the basic rights here, the freedom of speech. Let’s use it productively.
@Jay3344
I agree, but the left are the ones stroking the flames here and starting _most_ (but not all) of the fights. Not even really "the left" as much as their puppetmasters. We were here in 2015 saying the same thing as you, while little brats on college campuses were shouting in their professors faces' and "demanding to be heard" instead of getting instantly expelled and arrested, for a reason. I remember what 2015 was like, when social justice really became extreme and all this crap really went downhill.
This all started with extremists and nutjobs acting entitled and arrogant, instead of being shut down and possibly punched for being so disrespectful and toxic, to begin with. Respect is a two-way street and there's only so much bullying people can take from far-left extremists. It's now been SIX YEARS of the left calling everyone who isn't part of their club "racists, sexists, misogynists, bigots, incels, Nazis, white supremacists, 'Trump supporters,' anti-vaxxers" and so on.
@Jay3344
2020 was the tipping point, where people watched their homes and neighborhoods get burned down because a group of literal domestic terrorists called BLM became violent, while everyone else wanted to merely "talk about it." Even right now, there's a rapist who's being protected by the Virginia school board merely for being "non-binary" and her father was arrested for it, and the school board has tried to harass and bully them into silence. Parents of all races are protesting against Critical Race Theory Marxism being forced into schools and the left wants to have the FBI monitor them and label THEM as "domestic terrorists" for being against Marxism and disgusting racism as a school curriculum, but then protect literal criminals and rapists because they align with their political agendas.
I'm sorry to say, but the time for talk has long since past. The US is on the verge of a civil war and the Biden administration has already admitted they're more than happy to use tanks and drones on American civilians. I don't think "talking it out" is going to solve issues this big, now.
(Clarification)
Even right now, there's a non-binary student who raped a schoolgirl and he's being protected by the Virginia school board merely for being "non-binary" and the victim's father was arrested for "disrupting the peace" while speaking out against the school board's apathy towards his daughter's rape while protecting the rapist, and the school board has tried to harass and bully them into silence merely to protect the non-binary/trans agenda.
@MCheetah I think you’re leaving out the rights actions in your comment. The right is causing just as much of a disturbance in this country as the left. Proud boys, the incident at the capitol, people getting run over by right wing extremists, I mean I could go on but, my point is that your exclusively mentioning one side and dismissing the others actions as just reactionary. It seems like scapegoating.
@Jay3344
No, I'm not. The right have no power in America right now. The Proud Boys aren't a thing anyone cares about. The "incident at the capitol" was nothing, and the mainstream media are trying to make it seem like it was "terrorism." While ironically calling literal terrorists "peaceful protesters."
If it seems like I'm "exclusively mentioning one side" it's because that one side has all the social media giants behind them (which were large enough to completely deplatform a US president off their services), has most of the mainstream media behind them, have all of the entertainment industry behind them, and NOW have Washington behind them, as well. Facebook and Twitter censored and banned people from talking about Hunter Biden during the election and the spread of COVID coming from Wuhan last year, and you want to pretend like a few alt-right trolls or 4chan is as serious of a threat to society?
It's extremely disingenuous to act like the far right is an equal of a disturbance as the far left, when the far right have no institutional power towards anything and barely had any power even when Trump was in office. If the far-right were as much of a threat towards anything, then BLM, trans-policies, and feminist agendas wouldn't have been a thing while Trump was in office. Trump wouldn't have been ridiculed and hated as much as he was. And it'd have been the right that were censoring people from having online conversations and talking with each other on social media platforms.
So please don't try to play that game. I'm not even right-wing or Conservative, but they clearly hold no power compared to the radical left. I am not calling the radical right "innocent" in anything. They just clearly aren't an issue worth worrying about.
@MCheetah I don’t even know how to respond to that pile of shit. Your playing victim.
@Jay3344
"Respect is what’s needed. It would be good to hear each other out. I mean it’s one of the basic rights here, the freedom of speech." / "... Except when people don't agree with me, because they're a bunch of alt-right, White Nationalist, Trump-supporting misogynists."
'Freedom of speech and respect.' Yeah, I thought so. I'll see myself out.
@Jay3344 just because you’re a veteran doesn’t mean you’re a patriot obviously. Cowards run. I’ll continue to fight to keep the country of my birth and my ancestor’s birth the America I’m proud of.
@Jay3344 who the hell said people weren’t mad? Most of America’s change has happened when people get mad. You are abandoning your country. That’s okay though, it doesn’t sound like we need people like you here anyways. Go run.
@Cheechee4me no idea what your ranting about. If it’s about me you’re way off. Didn’t mean for the initial reply to have your name in it. It was for the other guy, just misclicked. But now that you speak your mind I see how your deductive reasoning works. You guys are like open books.
Jay3344
I think you’re missing the point. This country is imploding within. It used to be male and female…which it is. Now it’s cis this and norm that and all these ridiculous terms. People are literally speaking this language when it’s a simple as male and female. We have all the woke politics. We are watch our country morph in a vile place. Everything is racist now. We’re printing money and giving it away like candy’s. We have thousands of illegals pouring I to into our country. All this madness is coming from only one source. The far left. If you love Jesus, if you love your country, if you want to hold to more traditional ways then you’re targeted. America is only toxic for the non woke. Those who believe this kind of stuff have destroyed this country and it’s getting worse daily. Yeah…people are gonna be hostile when a bunch of people are using fancy mental gymnastics to explain why everything that is reality and truth isn’t. While they destroy the country doing it. So for those inclined to leave because they think
This country is evil. That’s it’s bad. Good. I say get out and stay out so we can try to put things back together and have normalcy again.
Yes when the BLMs were rioting, burning and causing all the problems in 2020 and the military did nothing about it. Then when the statues were being attacked and getting removed. Then the Trump assholes attacking the capital. These 3 events got me feeling that way.
I learned in leftist public school about survival of the fittest. From what I can see, the Europeans that founded and emigrated to this country were the top of the heap. Now, that you have been defeated and vanquished by your superiors, you want to change the rules. You no longer believe in survival of the fittest, smartest, most adaptive and most ingenious. Now you want to start over because you lost out to nature.
Why should you be?- You are responsible for your own actions and bear their consequences. You are not the decision / policy maker of your country so why should be responsible.
Almost every nation is/was built on stolen land. War for land has always existed all over the world.
You’re lucky we gave you back Mexico after you attacked us bitch.
Never. America has flaws like any other country but I do love the U. S.
I'm not American but I think almost every country has something to be ashamed about!
Obviously some more than others
No but am I even fully American? Lol my family is from the Dominican Republic so I’ve never felt fully American despite being born here
Your nationality is American because you were born in America. Your ethnicity, though, is Dominican.
I don't feel a real connection to this country either NGL. If I spoke Italian and had some connections is probably be in Italy.
Yes, I lived in Europe for 15 years during the Iraq War.
I'm not an American so there is nothing to be ashamed about.
your profile says American?
@007kingifrit Well I have edit it so it says America.
Only if Americans are being punished by certain foreigners. If some Americans are the reason why other Americans are being punished. Then, yeah. Due to racism, injustices, jealousy, hating, and selfishness. Yeah.
America brought decolonization to Africa, America saved Europe from fascism and genocide, America saved Asia from fascism and genocide.
Does America have some sins in its history? Yes. But America has done so much good to the world along while fighting for freedom.
This white guilt non sense has to stop
Why are you ashamed for being white? We are the most successful race in world history. Our medicines and inventions have saved millions more than they’ve ever harmed
Not ashamed of being an American. Am ashamed of what some Americans have done, but that's what learning history is about, learning not to make the same mistakes.
That stuff has happened throughout human history in every corner of the world. If you're going to have that mindset, you should really just be ashamed to be human, which is pretty fucking dumb.
This is the sort of thing that makes me ashamed to be an American today.
California becomes the first State, with the signing of AB 1084, to require retailers to have Gender-Neutral departments for children. Thoughts? ↗
Your question here is what makes me ashamed to be an American. What a fucking joke. Go live in Afghanistan, you fucking pansy.
Yep everyday it's embarrassing to go out of country and people ask ,"where are you from?" And you say US they look at hou and scowl
Nope I love America greatest country on this planet.
Every country or land has fucked history before America.
That we have the worst Healthcare system among developed nations and when we had an orange clown as the president. Also January 6th
Being ashamed of your nationality is as stupid as being proud of it.
*watches all the Karen MAGA Hat people having a full stroke*
Dude.. That was forever ago.. Way before i was even born. Every nation is founded by blood and every country probably had slavery that's just how things used to be. Time to move on
Might is right. Dont give me shit about morals those are just to maintain the social order of your subjects. The natural state of life on Earth is the law of the jungle.
It’s easy to judge our predecessors for harshly treating the natives but if they were pussy footers we would still be attacked with bows and arrows just trying to conduct commerce. You want to live as savages like the natives, piss poor badly clothed constantly at war with other clans? No, the Europeans are classy mother fuckers, we have law and order the industrial revolution and science. We were the better human being the lands of the USA are at peace and productive after clearing out the savages.
Yes it is very easy to judge them for what they did. It was a massacre for the sake of greed and nothing more. The English took the lands to themselves by blood. There is nothing to praise about it.
Law of the jungle? We are very different from other animals. Look at them and look at us.
i love it here i live in Texas i was born here but it is very embarrassing to be looked at how non Americans look at us because of the bad people of America like the trump supporters and racist it’s free here but the people make it bad
I was never ashamed of America until that socialist piece of shit obama got elected.
I'm not American, but I have been a little second-hand embarrassed with the whole Trump-era xD.
Indians had slaves, Indians warred with each other, Indians did everything you talk about but it's ok because it's part of their "culture."
nope. whatever is wrong here is not a problem with america, but with humans. all humans are bad and that's not going to be fixed.
I am not ashamed to be American! We have done very wrong stuff in the past but so has any nation that exists today. Thats reality! Don't ever think any nation is void of wrong doing.
Never but I've almost always been surrounded by Americans so there wasn't a reason for shame
If you can name one civilization that has not committed atrocities, maybe I will be ashamed.
Armenians
Lucky for me I'm from mexico but don't feel bad mexico has bad defects just like the us
Focus on the present and think about things that you can do to help yourself and if possible, others.
Not an American, well, as in united states of america.
But I haven't ever been ashamed of being brazilian, westerner, SA, latino, etc...
Even though this sounds like a troll post yes I have been ashamed to be an American 100 percent
I wasn’t trying to be a “troll”. I just wanted to know if anyone else shared my thoughts.
Then gtfo.
Exterminatore lmao 🤣 I’ll be working on it as soon as I get enough money
Awesome. Step up your game.
😂😂😂😂😂
The problem with knowing just a little bit of spoon fed history is that it leaves you with no context, whether you're a patriot or a pearl-clutching hater.
I’m ashamed that we don’t have a public option for healthcare.
What about the atrocities of Germany? Or Japan? Or China? Or Italy? Stop loathing your country.
Never, but I have been ashamed of some of the people who represent us sometimes
Absolutely not. I am PROUD to be an American. The Biden administration, however, is ruining America to the point where we're a laughing stock.
LET'S GO BRANDON
Sure, try reading Confessions of an Economic Hit Man and see how you take the news.
I'm actually Australian I just live in the states right now.
Only when liberals control everything and turn US into a den of sin.
I am so ashamed to be an American that when I travel in Europe I tell people I'm Canadian.
The US has been involved in 93 wars beginning in 1776 until the present most of which it started, either to grab land, grab resources, or provide ongoing economic support for the defense industry (mostly 20th and 21st centuries). This is NOTHING TO BE PROUD OF.
I’m not. I am Canadian but I feel ashamed at times of our government
I'm not an American, but if I were, I'd be proud. so many good things and innovations the americans gave us
As of late I have felt ashamed yes. 😔
A grown ass 38 year old woman saying this. Smdh.
What globetrotter? Or should I say americatrotter? 🙄 What’s your problem with my comment?
Woke college American college kids blurt out that anti-American nonsense. They are young and dumb and impressionable.
I too attended a very liberal university and was forced to sit through indoctrination classes. But as I got older, traveled the world and both experienced and read ACCURATE history of the world I found myself being infuriated and increasingly disgusted by whats going on in our public schools, the mass media and universities.
Racism, classism, sexism and homophobia is exponentially worse in most other parts of the world. How someone can claim “America is horrible” either had an IQ beneath 60 or had been brainwashed in ivory tower “re-education” camp.
Sigh. Sure other areas have their own problems but the disproportionate police violence towards black men, ESPECIALLY, where I live is disturbing.
And meanwhile inner city homicide rates have surged 30% (most victims being minorities) thanks to gutting law enforcement and demonizing the profession in general effectively scaring away talented police recruits.
There are CONSEQUENCES to stupid ideas driving by emotion. Do you really think every cop is Derek Chauvin? BLM has effectively gotten more black people killed than it supposedly defended. Vulnerable communities are now at much greater risk.
I am good friends with an African American woman who three weeks ago called me saying her 17 year old son’s best friend was murdered right in front of them in broad daylight when he tried to buy $100 of pot. SHE is furious at this “defund the police” libtard bullshit.
if u think only america has had slavery and ethnic cleansing u need a world history lesson 🤣
Ashamed of what? Who cares how America was built. It’s a great country now. If Europeans didn’t take over America it would still be an uncivil nation!
The worst comments always come from Anonymous.
I am proud to be Canadian in a year when I get my citizenship!
Not because of the past, but where the country is heading now? Absolutely.
I reckon Americans who are Ashamed to be American are Smart.
ya i hate being American. i hate americans lol.
