No, but then I'm not Andrew Jackson, or any other person who did anything worth being ashamed of for that matter.

Why should anyone be ashamed for things they didn't do?
That kind of mentality is stupid.

Nope, I'm not ashamed for the actions of my ancestors, because in today's society it has nothing to do with me. I can't control what happened in the past, I can only learn from history and strive to make a better tomorrow.

No. It's people who hate their country, but have never been outside it before, to know what the rest of the world is like. I at least commend this female for putting her money where her mouth is though and leaving, unlike the rest of these whining bitches who complain about the US, while Hong Kong gets their rights taken away from them, Uyghur Muslims in China are held in internment camps, and most of Africa lives in poverty and war.

Seriously, you whining fucks have no idea how good you have it. This chick at least left the US though, leaving room for hard-working and gracious legal immigrants to come in and thank God they escaped North Korea or being killed in whatever other third world craphole they came from. That's more than most of you are willing to do. I'm not even living in the US right now, and I have more appreciation for it than most of you Communist retards.

@MCheetah I have been outside the US many times and enjoy this country very much. I’m just saying that there is a growing subsection of intolerant people who cheer when others leave because of the growing political differences. It’s a shame to me that a country like this can spawn such unflinching hubris.

@MCheetah respect is what’s needed. People are mad in this country for a reason and it would be good to hear each other out and discuss rather than cheer for peopling leaving. Or tell others to leave when they speak up. I mean it’s one of the basic rights here, the freedom of speech. Let’s use it productively.

I agree, but the left are the ones stroking the flames here and starting _most_ (but not all) of the fights. Not even really "the left" as much as their puppetmasters. We were here in 2015 saying the same thing as you, while little brats on college campuses were shouting in their professors faces' and "demanding to be heard" instead of getting instantly expelled and arrested, for a reason. I remember what 2015 was like, when social justice really became extreme and all this crap really went downhill.

This all started with extremists and nutjobs acting entitled and arrogant, instead of being shut down and possibly punched for being so disrespectful and toxic, to begin with. Respect is a two-way street and there's only so much bullying people can take from far-left extremists. It's now been SIX YEARS of the left calling everyone who isn't part of their club "racists, sexists, misogynists, bigots, incels, Nazis, white supremacists, 'Trump supporters,' anti-vaxxers" and so on.

2020 was the tipping point, where people watched their homes and neighborhoods get burned down because a group of literal domestic terrorists called BLM became violent, while everyone else wanted to merely "talk about it." Even right now, there's a rapist who's being protected by the Virginia school board merely for being "non-binary" and her father was arrested for it, and the school board has tried to harass and bully them into silence. Parents of all races are protesting against Critical Race Theory Marxism being forced into schools and the left wants to have the FBI monitor them and label THEM as "domestic terrorists" for being against Marxism and disgusting racism as a school curriculum, but then protect literal criminals and rapists because they align with their political agendas.

I'm sorry to say, but the time for talk has long since past. The US is on the verge of a civil war and the Biden administration has already admitted they're more than happy to use tanks and drones on American civilians. I don't think "talking it out" is going to solve issues this big, now.

@MCheetah I think you’re leaving out the rights actions in your comment. The right is causing just as much of a disturbance in this country as the left. Proud boys, the incident at the capitol, people getting run over by right wing extremists, I mean I could go on but, my point is that your exclusively mentioning one side and dismissing the others actions as just reactionary. It seems like scapegoating.

      @Jay3344
No, I'm not. The right have no power in America right now. The Proud Boys aren't a thing anyone cares about. The "incident at the capitol" was nothing, and the mainstream media are trying to make it seem like it was "terrorism." While ironically calling literal terrorists "peaceful protesters."

If it seems like I'm "exclusively mentioning one side" it's because that one side has all the social media giants behind them (which were large enough to completely deplatform a US president off their services), has most of the mainstream media behind them, have all of the entertainment industry behind them, and NOW have Washington behind them, as well. Facebook and Twitter censored and banned people from talking about Hunter Biden during the election and the spread of COVID coming from Wuhan last year, and you want to pretend like a few alt-right trolls or 4chan is as serious of a threat to society?

It's extremely disingenuous to act like the far right is an equal of a disturbance as the far left, when the far right have no institutional power towards anything and barely had any power even when Trump was in office. If the far-right were as much of a threat towards anything, then BLM, trans-policies, and feminist agendas wouldn't have been a thing while Trump was in office. Trump wouldn't have been ridiculed and hated as much as he was. And it'd have been the right that were censoring people from having online conversations and talking with each other on social media platforms.

So please don't try to play that game. I'm not even right-wing or Conservative, but they clearly hold no power compared to the radical left. I am not calling the radical right "innocent" in anything. They just clearly aren't an issue worth worrying about.

I think you’re missing the point. This country is imploding within. It used to be male and female…which it is. Now it’s cis this and norm that and all these ridiculous terms. People are literally speaking this language when it’s a simple as male and female. We have all the woke politics. We are watch our country morph in a vile place. Everything is racist now. We’re printing money and giving it away like candy’s. We have thousands of illegals pouring I to into our country. All this madness is coming from only one source. The far left. If you love Jesus, if you love your country, if you want to hold to more traditional ways then you’re targeted. America is only toxic for the non woke. Those who believe this kind of stuff have destroyed this country and it’s getting worse daily. Yeah…people are gonna be hostile when a bunch of people are using fancy mental gymnastics to explain why everything that is reality and truth isn’t. While they destroy the country doing it. So for those inclined to leave because they think
This country is evil. That’s it’s bad. Good. I say get out and stay out so we can try to put things back together and have normalcy again.

I learned in leftist public school about survival of the fittest. From what I can see, the Europeans that founded and emigrated to this country were the top of the heap. Now, that you have been defeated and vanquished by your superiors, you want to change the rules. You no longer believe in survival of the fittest, smartest, most adaptive and most ingenious. Now you want to start over because you lost out to nature.

It’s easy to judge our predecessors for harshly treating the natives but if they were pussy footers we would still be attacked with bows and arrows just trying to conduct commerce. You want to live as savages like the natives, piss poor badly clothed constantly at war with other clans? No, the Europeans are classy mother fuckers, we have law and order the industrial revolution and science. We were the better human being the lands of the USA are at peace and productive after clearing out the savages.

Indians had slaves, Indians warred with each other, Indians did everything you talk about but it's ok because it's part of their "culture."

I am not ashamed to be American! We have done very wrong stuff in the past but so has any nation that exists today. Thats reality! Don't ever think any nation is void of wrong doing.

The problem with knowing just a little bit of spoon fed history is that it leaves you with no context, whether you're a patriot or a pearl-clutching hater.

The US has been involved in 93 wars beginning in 1776 until the present most of which it started, either to grab land, grab resources, or provide ongoing economic support for the defense industry (mostly 20th and 21st centuries). This is NOTHING TO BE PROUD OF.

Woke college American college kids blurt out that anti-American nonsense. They are young and dumb and impressionable.

I too attended a very liberal university and was forced to sit through indoctrination classes. But as I got older, traveled the world and both experienced and read ACCURATE history of the world I found myself being infuriated and increasingly disgusted by whats going on in our public schools, the mass media and universities.

Racism, classism, sexism and homophobia is exponentially worse in most other parts of the world. How someone can claim “America is horrible” either had an IQ beneath 60 or had been brainwashed in ivory tower “re-education” camp.

Sigh. Sure other areas have their own problems but the disproportionate police violence towards black men, ESPECIALLY, where I live is disturbing.

And meanwhile inner city homicide rates have surged 30% (most victims being minorities) thanks to gutting law enforcement and demonizing the profession in general effectively scaring away talented police recruits.

There are CONSEQUENCES to stupid ideas driving by emotion. Do you really think every cop is Derek Chauvin? BLM has effectively gotten more black people killed than it supposedly defended. Vulnerable communities are now at much greater risk.

I am good friends with an African American woman who three weeks ago called me saying her 17 year old son’s best friend was murdered right in front of them in broad daylight when he tried to buy $100 of pot. SHE is furious at this “defund the police” libtard bullshit.

Ashamed of what? Who cares how America was built. It’s a great country now. If Europeans didn’t take over America it would still be an uncivil nation!
