No but it’s starting to make people realize just how desperate feminists are.
When feminists replace a male action hero with a female action hero, they are riding the coattails of a male. Movies like Tomb Raider and Atomic Blonde never received criticism for being female characters cause they are original female characters. But of course left wingers ignore that because it refutes their argument of “misogyny”.

No, that's ridiculous. It IS causing low viewership of these movies and TV shows and comic books, resulting in large financial losses at the studios. But it's not their money, and they are fine losing hundreds of millions of dollars to push their political agendas.
Woke Star Trek failed and is a primary reason CBS/Viacom is near bankruptcy.
Woke Star Wars failed and resulted in Kathleen Kennedy being stripped of power, and Disney not even publicly acknowledging her contract renewal (which was only done for optics).
Woke Doctor Who failed so badly it's taking down the entire BBC.
Woke Ghostbusters - need I say more?
Woke James Bond - worst movie performances in the history of the series.
And Woke Indians Jones was so bad they are taking a year to rewrite it.
I haven’t heard of this, nor do I support it. James Bond is a dude, period. I’m assuming the crowd who supports this would be pissed if the shoe was on the other foot and Captain Marvel became a dude or the Jennifer Lawrence chick from theHunger Games was switched to a guy.
But man, I could definitely get behind Idris Elba as James Bond.

That's ridiculous. It's not turning men into criminals. That's probably what feminists want people to believe though. They want people to view men as these savages and to view women as these perfect, can do no wrong, god-like species. If anything these stupid people who are trying to give male character roles to females are just making men frustrated. Wouldn't women be frustrated if the men started gender swapping their intentionally female characters into male characters instead of creating something completely new on their own?
Indirectly. Attempts to make men more feminine, passive, harmless will have negative effects in society because society always needed masculinity to get built & maintained. For those who can't grasp it, just imagine if 90% of police officers were too afraid to even do their jobs? That's where all of this is headed. For those of us who don't think the cops should be doing everything in the first place this is already a problem, simply because too many men are too soft to protect their own home/neighborhood/kids.
like 90% of what's coming out of Hollywood sucks today. It's either a rehash or a propaganda piece and I dont have time, much less money to waste on such drivel.
How my brain works:
You: Talk to me nicely with respect, as a peer
Me: Hears you out and allows you to make your points and I kindly make my own and we agree or dont and shake hands.
or
You: Attempt to start lecturing
Me: Notices I'm not wearing a wedding band and walks away.
the more people lecture me the less inclined I am to participate. The less likely I am to participate the more likely I am to do the exact opposite of what the lecturing party wants. On its own, no. The fact that our society's new stance is that masculinity is evil does cause violence. Rather than being encouraged to embrace natural masculinity and use it for good, the message young men are hearing is "Masculinity is bad. Men are bad". I. e: no actual advice for how to be good men. As a result, this leaves a vacuum for bad behavior, which men can do very well, seeing as we have natural aggression which is directed at achieving good in a society embracing masculinity and is left to achieve bad in societies ignoring or hating masculinity.
Ok OBM, let's not drag the feminism word into this, ok. LOL It's been bastardized enough and I'm crusading, albeit quietly, to remind people what the simple, original definition is: to advocate for woman's rights on the basis of equality between the genders or sexes - you know, back when gender meant male or female. Every looney tune thing that gets associated with the term now, or any anti-men thing, just distracts from what it's really about.
Back to the question - uh, no. LOL But, I'm sure Ian Fleming is turning over in his grave over this latest Bond development. Not only is it the first time James Bond gets killed, but is NOTHING sacred? It's JAMES Bond, not Jane Bond. He's supposed to be devastatingly handsome, debonair, an amazing fighter, brilliant and of course, irresistible to women. He's supposed to bed at least 5 gorgeous ladies per movie, and flirt shamelessly with Moneypenny. A female 007 ? HOGWASH !! It's the end of the world as we know it !!!Only really desperate men would start murdering innocent people over stupid shit like this but I must admit I don't like race, gender, or sexual orientation swap characters though just seem lazy. I honestly would rather create either new characters or use characters that companies refuse to promote and expand.
All it does is make for bad PC movies like ghostbusters. Leads to even further alienation of boys and young men from a society that equates putting boys down with helping women . Same with Dr who. Once a much needed male role model, now a boring and poorly written PC mess that spends most of it's time preaching outdated negative male stereotypes and is nothing but an insult to the entire male gender, It is so bad it's painful to watch.
No, it's just fucking stupid and makes us angry that they think the gender of the character is important. It's the originality of the character.
I'd riot over a female Indiana Jones. Like what the fuck are you thinking? Go make your own series.
Female Rambo? Fuck no.It's worth watching the video of that speech, there's a guy in background cringing with embarrassment.
People are responsible for their own actions. If men need more positive role models may I suggest, Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, Keanu Reeves, Mr. Rogers, Albert Einstein…. Or might I suggest that more young men become good role models.
No, I don't think normal men are getting that upset about it.
It is stupid however. I'm all for new lead female characters, but to simply remake a movie / character as a woman is just unoriginal pandering.Or it could just be ending movie patronage. I think it will be funny, or maybe not, when the "woke" (set) get upset that they are tuned out, and then get violent as a result.
Well it's dumb, it don't make a difference a good role model is a good role model no matter gender. This male propaganda this idea that more women in films causes violence is daft probably sexist to hell.
Hollywood has lost its mind, most of the world has lost their sh*t. but you can't blame such trivial things on the violent acts of morons
No that’s stupid, it’s annoying sometimes but it’s not causing men to be violent, the lack of fathers in the household is causing them to be more violent
No. That's a bit far-fetched, even for those who might be inclined to believe in nonsense.
I hope not. That wouldn't be very brave or smart of either gender to have such strong reactions just because of movies.
Nothing of the sort.
At max it just shows writers and directors don't really care about women representation. Cause if they did, they'd work to create new original women characters. Not be lazy and just genderbend existing characters.Def not... but people should still leave the classics alone
it definitely makes movies stupid. As soon as I see a scene where a 100 lb woman beats up a bunch of Navy seals or slays a monster that just killed 20 men, I'm out
