GenX and boomer white people what do you think about the bipolar expectations young black people face?

Maybe a easier way for you to understand the black struggle is through a generational lense. Imagine yourself as a black kid yourself. Instead of trying to empathize with some "potential criminal" you don't even know. You grow up innocent not knowing what racism is your just a normal kid. Then mom and dad give you a talk about it and tell you the Police will unfairly interrogate you at some point and to put your hand on your head and don't talk back or whatever or you'll die. You don't get it but you trust them and you may disagree one some specific thing they said but in black households you can't talk back you have to be obedient to your parent. Mom and dad and grandparents influence you into the traditional black culture but mom and dad also have some ties to the contemporary black culture. Way to complicated for a kid to understand but you think some things mom and dad do is cool.. You become a teenager and you are influenced by the black youth subculture which stereotypically has some thug gangster criminal elements and is influenced by a dark criminal subculture and truth be told it does. You get pressure from your black peers to conform to the black youth culture often times bad or risky stuff that will get you in trouble. On top of all this, your white authority figures expect you to conform 5o three white culture or American culture or whatever. You feel like no matter what you do you'll always disappoint someone. Your life quickly becomes out of control and you get upset and act out. White teachers treat you like your crazy or like a pitiful victim or potential criminal or a knucklehead troublemaker when all you want is respect. Like any other young person you try to prove your parents wrong and try to put yourself in a positive youth culture or if your a bad ass ", hard" kid you try to stay in the bad boy bad girl subculture. there's also contemporary issues you are called to fix by family and maybe even God. So young adult life becomes painful sometimes
