OK, the first problem with your statement is the adjective "normal." There is a broad swath of what constitutes "normal" behavior and choices on this planet.

I wanted to be a little boy when I was 4 years old because it seemed to me little boys had far more fun, wore better clothes, could get dirtier and had more freedom than little girls. I was not, nor have I ever been transgender. I saw a recent article about a trans youth, girl to boy, who wants to play high school football with boys because, well there are no high school football girl teams, period, so there's that. The youth has some skills in that area and wants to utilize them. Maybe she's pretty big and strong for a female. And in high school, pre pubescent males lag behind girls in muscular and height development.
As a little girl, 4, her dad decided "that's my son," because of the girl's choice of play and toys. I played with my brother's race cars and builder sets. Did that make me a male? Ii shot marbles with the neighborhood kids; mostly boys. Was I trans?
And at that time of my life, with NO life experience, per se, how could I make a decision for the rest of my entire life to be one sex or the other? What IS the rush? Why do all the doors have to closed right away. Does no one offer the option for a child to change their mind?
There have been some studies of children who declared they were trans, that by age 16 they'd given up this idea all on their own. Maybe comfort with their young adult bodies, roles settled in. Maybe finding their own path to choose what they liked to do.
It IS highly unlikely that the trans boy will be able to continue as a football player WITH young men after high school because a biological female, even taking male hormones, will more than likely be smaller and not as strong as a biological male. It might be a recipe for longterm disappointment. True there are small men. But they still have the bone strength and musculature of biological males.
There are women who are genetically predispositioned to have higher than average testosterone levels, as evidenced by an Olympic runner who was challenged as to whether she was a "she." It's also likely there are men with the same issues.
All of this goes to show we exist along a spectrum of maleness and femaleness. Some are a bit more one way than another. For a few, this being a 3 instead of a 7 is painful. But adolescence is a time of painful change. And it takes YEARS to get through. Adult brain function isn't cemented until 21 to 25 years.
Though trans changes seem to HELP gender confused people, 40% of such people are not satisfied with hormonal, lifestyle or surgical alterations. Most teens decide they are NOT trans when they pass age 16.
I don't think ANY puberty blocking therapy should be instituted. Children need to get through puberty, settle into their new bodies and lives , get support throughout this time and get NO surgical or hormonal alterations until they have had five years of psychiatric therapy past age 18, live and work as the gender they hope to be after, say, year 2 of that therapy going well.

A constitutional amendment is very hard to work around. Declaring that SCOTUS was simply wrong when it said corporations have free speech protections would be a good start. Also that congress absolutely has the right to legislate how campaigns may be funded.

In 1991 Volkmar Sigusch a German sexologist, physician, and sociologist published the first paper with the use of the word "zissexual" which translated to cissexual in English. A way to explain transsexualism , but it was later changed to transgender hence cisgender in the mid 2000's.

Trans means on the other side. Cis means on this side (aka same side). (Latin origin.) Science uses the terms to talk about arrangement of atoms in some molecules. It was applied to sexual identity to neans identifying the same as you actually are (e. g., a girl identifying as a girl), and trans for people who identifying as the opposite if what they actually are.

Ok so they use it because those are actual legit latin words meaning "the same side of" and "the other side of". It's less for you than it is for them. When you call someone a transman/transwoman, you put yourself in a situation to be Cis. It literally just means you are the same gender as your born sex. They are the opposite of it, hence trans. You are the same, hence Cis.
When they say you are Cis, they are just saying you are not trans and vice versa. Calm yourselves, it isn't meant for it to be an insult to anyone. Those terms are used in lots of things including biology and chemistry for example.
