Oooh so freaky many... I work at a restaurant as a hostess and sometimes server. I'll share two of them.

Story 1:

I had to ID this lady that claimed she's a senior wanting the senior discount. She got angry and threw a whole fit saying, "ASKING FOR MY ID IS ILLEGAL. YOU SHOULD NOT BE ASKING ME THAT. DISRESPECTFUL--"

I just started at her and said, "Okay Ma'am, I'll give you adult pricing" and walked away. The waitress came by and the lady complained about me, so the waitress asked to ID her and she gave her the ID. She wasn't old enough to get the discount so she threw a fit. Apparently she didn't want me to ID her because I was 15 at the time and 'it's illegal for minors to ID', LIKE WHAT? LOL.

Story 2:

The gov't issued mandatory vaccination qr codes and approved photo IDs for certain businesses before entering the premises. This one lady didn't have a photo ID so we couldn't let her. Her group went in without her and she tried to sneak in but I stopped her, telling she needs to show us the ID before she can enter the premises.

She full-out starts wailing, saying how she's been in the hospital since yesterday, hasn't been able to eat for 2 days and was starving. I apologized and said it was the business' policy and told her to go back and wait at the front entrance until she has her ID (photo, alternative). She refused and started crying and screaming saying, "You're going to make me look like a beggar just waiting to eat? HOW COULD YOU?"

I shouldn't have said this but I said, "No one thinks you're a beggar ma'am, it's just you." and then calmly explained to her again, "We can let you in, otherwise we'll be fined or forced to shut down. We can't risk the health of other customers either." Police patrolled our area frequently so we didn't want to risk it. Many people faked their vaccinations or borrowed other's, so that's why we made sure to check their IDs to confirm it's their's. She eventually *stomped* away like a little kid and her table left shortly after.

Oh my lol Girl I have so many Karen stories I work retail for long time. Infact one of them was my manager she even had the typical Karen hair cutt lol. She work for Kroger grocery store she would scream on the top of her longs to not request days off that she decided who works whatever shift. I try to explain to her that I had finals I was also worry about graduation. She grabs the binder threw it across the register and she ended up hitting another Karen lady across the face with the binder and some how manager Karen said it was my fault.
2. After that I work at Forever 21 this one Karen wanted a particular style of a dress she saw online I explained to her that we don't carry that style is only available only Karen yelling ask me to check in the stocked room and make sure. I try telling her that we don't have that dress inside store it is only available only when she showed me on her phone it said online only available yet still she insisted that we search the whole store. She ask to speak to my manager and wants me fired. Okay my manager tells Karen the same thing I tell her. Then goes of asking for coporate number because she assumed that we were hidden the dress. She ask us to used our store phone coporate tells her same thing my manager and I said to her then she goes off asking for the owners of Forever 21 that can't be possible she threws things and we had to called the cops. Lol

Every day... so hard to pick one. My most recent one... so I had been dating pretty hard for 6 months like 12 different women and finely I found this totally awesome women. We spent a weekend together, and some friends at work knew on Friday that I was going on a weekend get away with her.

So I come in on Monday they asked me how it went. I said it was totally awesome time the women is amazing... they laughed and asked "how amazing" and I said "5 to 6 times more amazing than I hoped for." They laughed and that was all that was said.

Well Kareen teleworks 4 days a week, but she was there on that Monday. Wednesday of the same week I get a email from Karan on saying that she; "really thought that my conduct was highly unprofessional and that she should not be subject to the things I do in personal life. How what I said really troubled her and how its been on her mind for the last few days... and how she has lost sleep over it." And it goes on for three paragraphs of this bleeding heart trilogy.

Just to keep the peace I told her thank you for making me aware of your concerns, that I have the upmost respect for her sense of professionalism... I apologies if she was offended and I am glad that she feels safe enough to express her feelings to me.

I found out by the end of the day she was messaging every other person in office the day before asking if they thought I was out of line. So kind of trying to organize a office coup, that never materialized for her.

She also is the only women in the office and she will not tolerate cussing when every other person cusses. So the days she comes in we all walk on pins and needles around her... she makes it a hostile work place environment for everyone else... but on the days she teleworks it super laid back. But we all accommodate for her sensitives because she has this toxic positivity about her... and anything she deems not to her suiting is wrong. Good news is that she is only 16 months away from retirement.

I had a lady pull up next to me at a stoplight in the town I went to college in, and she tried to give me shit for my music being too loud. First off, no one complains when it’s rock music, only when it’s rap, and we don’t need to read too much in between the lines to tell what’s going on there🙄😒🤦‍♂️ So right off the bat, I don’t respect it, because you’re coming from a place of cultural disdain.

Anyway, after motioning to me to turn it down, she says to me, since both our windows were down, “do you think you could play that a little quieter? It’s kind of, like…. assaulting people.” OH MY GOD, lady. Be fucking softer, you can’t. “Assaulting people”, holy FUCK, bro, I just can’t😂😂😂 And look, I’m cool, if I see little kids around and there’s extreme vulgarity coming up, I’ll turn it down or roll up my windows…. it’s not like I’m blasting the most hardcore gangsta rap I can find in the elementary school parking lot. Not for nothing, I knew how to say all these “bad” words by first or second grade, strictly FROM attending school with my peers, so miss me with the idea that I’m corrupting your children or something, that’s fucking ridiculous.

So this lady says that to me, and my response was “you must have a great life. Congratulations.” She looked puzzled and goes, “Excuse me?” I replied, “well…. if having to hear a song you don’t like for literally 30 seconds is enough to throw a monkey wrench into your day, then you clearly don’t have any REAL problems.” Just smiled and winked at her, and drove away lmao

Omg when I was a waitress. From 5-6 we had the ‘Early Bird’ Menu where you got 20% off and after that it was regular price. This was on our social media, website, menus in the window and written on a board outside. This woman was an American tourist (the worst) and was eating on her own. She booked a table for 7:30 I believe and came in for food. Basically, she ate everything, and started screaming at me demanding that she get the 20% discount because ‘if she knew about it then she would’ve come in earlier’ I was like? Too bad? I went and spoke to my manager and they were like wtf, that’s ridiculous tell her she can’t have the discount. So it went back and forth like this for ages, she was screaming at me in front of all the customers, I was apologising and telling her unfortunately she can’t have the discount as her table was booked at 7:30 and she didn’t order off of the early bird menu, continued on…. until eventually we gave her the discount to shut her up, and she was very rude about it all. There is no logic behind her point … that’s like me saying oh I would’ve bought my favourite pair of jeans if I knew they were on sale last week and then demanding to get them for that price? Also, she was constantly snapping her fingers at us to get our attention which is SO rude

My mom is a karen 🙄. She always asks for the manager, complains about the price and starts arguments for no reason. She once cursed a lady out about something she did that was rude and then when the lady got mad she started singing and acting like she didn't do anything. Then when my sister told my dad about the horrible display of her behaviour infront of my little brother she got upset and started crying saying I would never do that. Meanwhile my sister recorded the whole thing and showed him. Then she got mad at all of us when my dad left because my sister told. And she was like are you calling me a liar. And then she was like you said I was swearing and I wasn't then she got mad and started doing it again and for a whole week we had to deal with her outburst. Then when my dad got home she'd act like the sweetest person. And snap at us quietly and make us do all the housework and cooking. And then acted like she did it. Then my sister told my dad about she was treating us and my dad tried to talk to her again, and the tears and ''I'm so hurt'' act commenced. Then she started ignorin us and refusing to eat at meals. But then after everything was cleaned up she suddenly wanted to eat. It was so fustrating. Like just own up to it. Then she had the nerve to say ''I'm not a liar, I never lie''.

Yes, one day in the summer of 2020 I was driving my pickup truck to the dump. I have a Trump 2020 sticker on the rear bumper and lots of times people will honk and give me a big thumbs up. I drove past a black Escalade and the driver honks at me so I just give her a big wave. She follows me into the dump and starts yelling at me. She call me a Nazi and calls President Trump a racist. Yep, a few weeks ago. A woman came stomping into the building demanding to see the owner, manager - whoever was in charge. I told her that was me, I'm the owner. She stared at me and said "bullshit, you are too young." I said "yes, I'm young, but I'm the owner" and asked her how I could help her. She said her car had a flat tire in my parking lot. She'd run over a nail or something, and it was therefore our fault. I went outside with her to look. Sure enough, she had a flat tire; I could see the nail, and could also see that her tires had very little tread on them and were bald in most places. To make a long story short, I changed her tire for her (the spare wasn't in much better shape) and told her where she could go get the flat fixed. She said she still didn't believe I was the owner; business owners don't fix flats, they send people out to do it. I told her "Yes, I'm the owner. I know how to fix flats. And sometimes they let me stay up late with the grown-ups." Then I walked off.
