The U. S. didn't end the cold war after the fall of the Soviet Union. It has been working to destroy Russia ever since. It has been working and scheming to isolate and bankrupt Russia for 30 years.
So Russia will never been in America's good graces. No matter what Russia does, the U. S. will consider it an enemy until it has full control over Russia and its resources. It HATES that Russia won't capitulate.
But there is the emerging BRICS economy. There is the EAEU. Five countries are part of CSTO, a collective security pact, that includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. It has other allies, such as Moldova, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Iran, Syria, and Venezuela. Ecuador, Nicaragua, Bolivia and Argentina have all
granted Russia access to their airspace and ports. Ethiopia, Eritrea, Uganda, South Africa and other countries in Africa are less than hostile to Russia.
So, the idea that Russia as lost the good graces of the world isn't entirely accurate.00 Reply

The U S has been at war for the majority of the 268 years of its existence, murdered and or caused the death of millions upon millions through direct targeting indirect casualties leveling cities to the ground freezing assets blocking medical supply trades food burning crops destroying health centers sanctions —and even so the whole world does business with the U S. Well not the whole world. Russia is calling it quits and now the Biden administration ran over to Venezuela to beg oil from the hand of Maduro whom of which they wouldn’t even acknowledge as a democratically elected leader two years ago. Two years ago Maduro was “king evil dictator responsible for all ills in the world” and now… a piece of the puzzle in a business transaction. It’s just power. Leaders have no principles. It’s all subterfuge to get public on board for their own personal interest and the public ears it up. U S was selling weapons to Germany whilst the basis were in power. Ask yourselves why U S is refusing Russia for their bad behavior but gladly in bed with Israel and Saudi Arabia who are responsible for suffering & death of inhabitants daily. And if we’ll bring of Ukraine is so important why is it only brought to attention now when people of the Dunbass region in Ukraine have been facing bombings from Ukrainian army for 8 years now -since the coup in 2014. And if childhood trauma matters so much why does the U S still have thousands in cages at the boarder- dying raped starved denied medical attention and during a pandemic…this is all about sanctity of profit. Not lives.

The Duran are history experts and give thorough coverage of international conflicts. They are independent non political affiliated commentators. I do not always agree with their personal political views but always find there over views very informative, they are as objective as anyone I have done acriss. Most helpful is their in deity understanding of history. Anything that sounds suspect you can easily look into and find they are recording a trap events.
This is the most recent video but there are very many in the topic of Ukraine conflict and the conduct and strategy and interest of various countries involved.
This video specifically focuses on US & EU reckless involvement in Ukraine / Russia conflict their influence motivations and the devastating impact these decisions are slated to have on citizens of the respective countries.

Ugh 😑 this is a terrible video! Fiery. They did done really good history but the one I sent us basically gossip and inside jokes with three friends. I’m going to compile a list of links that I think may be helpful in scanning a general historical overview of the the situation in the Donbas in Ukraine at large Russia U S nato and relations, from 2014 to now. I don’t expect anyone to agree with anyone one view, we all think for ourselves, I just feel sympathetic to people bc it is unfair and very obstructive the way so much detail is left out in the mainstream news commentaries it’s pretty impossible to generate an informed conclusion to events.
I have a lot to go through so it may be a while but I do births to stop several links for anyone interested 👋🏻 😊 - +1 y
Hey 👋🏻 sorry I’m a bit late! Here’s the list I promised- on this post below 😊
👇🏻
Did anyone notice or care that I promised to compile a list of links w/ experts giving overview of the prevailing Ukraine /Russia /Nato conflict? ↗
+1 yI can't say they were ever in the good graces of the world, but I had long wished the US and Russia could be friends or allies, can you imagine how powerful the two would be if that was the case?
The Russian government seems like they are paranoid, claiming NATO was going to invade when that had zero chance of ever happening. It is like Putin is suffering from
schizophrenia or something.
As it stand now, I'm not sure they can, beyond the people throwing out the dictator government they got and trying again at Democracy, which they tried after the fall but then they let Putin become dictator again. Not sure what is wrong with the Russians that they keep going back to dictatorships.00 Reply
As much as I hate the guy, Russia is the easiest scapegoat when corrupt leaders want a distraction. Where were all of you when Xi Jinping was holding concentration camps filled with Uyghur Muslims, and then proceeded to make propaganda videos saying "nothing to see here!". Where were Americans when the 1997 Hong Kong treaty that allowed democracy in the country til it the duration runs out and the CCP can take it, was shredded and spit on, leading to many innocent people being murdered by corrupt cops and communist officials while Carrie Lam sat on her ass blaming the victims. Oh yeah, Houston Rockets owner got punished for showing support to victims. Yeah, thats what we did. What about when China build the African Union Headquarters, and it was later discovered that they implanted secret surveillance cameras that were traced back to China? Where was the uproar for African victims when Angola got put into debt slavery with their port? I know, its easy to reenact cold war tensions and act like Putin is the biggest problem, but he is no where near the biggest problem. CCP is fucking over not only Japan, India and South Korea, they are starting conflicts with Philippines, Australia, Czech Republic, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Angola, Senegal, fuck, the entire African Nations countries, the US, hell they are the ONLY country that lists North Korea as an ally! Not even Russia does this. This is a serious problem being ignored by the average American because they don't research shit regarding global politics.

+1 yChange of Political leadership and full withdrawal from Ukraine.
In my experience the vast majority of people in the West does not hate Russia or Russian people, its the current Russian political leadership who are viewed as untrustworthy and keen to bully smaller former Soviet nations into a new oppressive alliance with Russia.
Putin was President, then became Prime Minister until law change meant he could be President for life (A common action for Dictators), he manipulates elections, like his friends daughter was his rival in the last election which proved it was a fix. If she was a real political rival, she would have been arrested or killed.10 Reply- 7.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yGet a new leader that helps "undo" the damage as much as he/she can and apologize for what his/her predecessor has done to them.
I don't understand this whole "world dominance" ethos! Just be in charge of YOUR country and be happy with THAT!! If ALL the countries of the world would just be that way and treat the rest the same way they'd expect to be treated, we'd finally have world peace!! You do YOU and let me do ME!! As long as nobody's getting hurt in the process!! If one doesn't like what the other is doing, too fucking bad!! I never see Alabama trying to invade Louisiana!! Each are just neighboring plots of land, just like Russia and Ukraine!00 Reply 1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Write on the chalkboard 100 times: “The United States and the West does not equal the world.” It is the West that is out of good graces with a newly formed Eurasian bloc that includes Russia, China, Iran, Saudi, UAE, and possibly Turkey and Israel. I doubt the severing of trade links between Russia and the West is reversible. Too bad for the West, because Russia produces 80% of the material from which semiconductors are made, a huge portion of the nickel needed for electric cars, a large percentage of the world’s fertilizer, and are the biggest exporter of grain. There is a real risk of hunger and severe poverty for lower and middle-income Westerners.

I’m starting to think we played ourselves. Countries are starting to realize this is their opportunity to get off the petrodollar. If we aren’t careful we’re going to be the ones starving and begging the world to trade with us.
- +1 y
@DarkWinterNights No one in America knows or understands the petrodollar.
They will in a few years when hyperinflation kicks in, and everyone is on a mandatory weight loss program. - +1 y
@Qdbrown What amazes me is that the administration seems to not have thought more than one move ahead even though they were the ones prodding Ukraine into antagonizing Russia into this war. Begging Venezuela and Iran for oil after cutting Russian oil imports demonstrates complete thoughtlessness and lack of planning, as well as an ideologically driven commitment against domestic oil production. I agree, the prospect of real deprivation in the West is real because of this foolishness.
The Russians would first have to get rid of Putin and all thugs in the government connected with him, and install somebody like Navalny, giving him executive powers to reform Russian government. As far as Ukraine, Russia would have to make peaceful gestures in Ukraine's favor, like free oil, removing all ethnic Russians from Ukraine.

m +1 yAt this point? I doubt they would be forgiven in the next twenty years. And they would have to start by getting rid of Mr. Putin and his ilk, admit their fault with orchestrating an invasion and pay billions for repairs/reconstruction of Ukraine. And I see nothing of that happening any time soon...

+1 yI think the world would welcome Russia back quite quickly if two things happened. First the people of Russia have to rise up and throw Putin and his thugs out of power. Next if there is enough evidence for war crime trials Russia should not protect leaders both military and political from being put on trial.

+1 yAfter Putin is gone, of course they can and will be welcomed back.
I mean look at Germany.
It is just that some cultures or societies think that having an oppressive government is the only way to go. It takes a culture a while to reject such nonsense.00 Reply 897 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes I think they could be. I think one of the key factors is that the Ukrainian president has to find a good relationship to Russia and show them that Ukraine still wants to have a good relationship with Russia. If Russia would get the Crimean and there is a compromise for the East Ukraine found than I´m pretty sure Russia would be at peace with the Ukraine even if the Ukraine joined the EU.
00 Reply11.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Russia isn't in bad graces of the world to begin with - Putin is.
But Putin has shown the world money may be their God, but it's not his. He may be at war in Ukraine, but he's bankrupting the world in the process as you pay higher and higher prices for less and less.00 Reply5.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I don't think the world at large is blaming Russia so much as they are Putin and the Russian power structure that is allowing his actions.
I'm sure there will be lingering political feelings as there always is following a war. But politically the world will move on fairly quickly. But this is assuming Putin's rule doesn't survive this. Putin wasn't a Saint before this. And this will permanently mark Russia as long as he remains in power.00 Reply- 704 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yNothing, because no one who's sane thinks poorly of Russians. You can't let the actions of a dictator mold your opinion of those he controls. The vast majority of civilians in any country, do not agree with, or condone, the actions of their governments, and the protesting going on in Russia is proof of that.

+1 yI don't blame the country itself but the government. I mean, my government sucks too but I don't like to define my country by it. Countries are defined by culture, history, food, music, places, people etc.
20 Reply Well I don't blame Russians so they don't really need to do anything to make up as it isn't their fault. However they need to have the courage to go against Putin if they want to come in our good books faster without misunderstandings.

Like they could agree on a ceasefire by next week or Russia might bomb nuclear powerplants on purpose or start employing WMD:s.
Also its possible that they do a ethnic cleansing in occupied areas.00 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I would say they returning back to where they came giving back crimea and forfeit their frozen assets for war reperations in Ukraine. And we can consider lifting those sanctions. If all current Russian leaders steps down from politics forever.
00 Reply8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. At the very least, change of government and for our generation to die. People are simply going to keep this grudge for the rest of their lives and Russia's only hope is to not lose the next generation too.
00 ReplyHe's getting high fives left and right. You paying more for gas doesn't bother him at all. The oil is already in the ground in Russia. It will sell eventually. Inflation just means it will sell for more. He has been rewarded already...
00 ReplyYes all will be forgiven, but sadly the people of Ukraine is the ones who is suffering, this should not have happen, but in a year or less be business as usual
00 ReplyWhy would Russia want that? If Russia cared, they wouldn't have done it. War was not good from the start but still Ukrainian President wanted to be enemy of Russia and now he's responsible for Russia's invasion. Ukraine could have been friends with Russia. Yet, they chose to be enemy.
