Poland, the USA, Germany, and Italy are backing Ukraine.
No one wants to say it's WW3 but let's just call a spade a spade.
Answer "D"
We were the ones pushing Ukraine to join NATO. That was only an excuse for Putin to move forward. Now Ukraine is paying a terrible price because the West has its hands tied by Putin.
The only thing preventing all out war is how well Ukraine can hold out. The Russian people will have to be the ones to stop this nonsense. But when you have a one-party system the biggest bully ends up in charge, that is Putin at this point. He will crush any decent.
The only hope we have to keep this from escalating is for the Russian people to stand up to Putin. Would have helped if we had a leader strong enough to stand up to Putin in the first place. This never had to happen.
Out of curiosity how could he stand up to Putin and prevented him from invading another country and not escalating it further?
The US is threatening trade sanctions against India and non-specific “severe consequences” against China for not being suitably anti-Russian. The Biden regime, dominated by radical neoconservatives in the State Dept. like Blinken and Nuland, is picking a fight with most of Eurasia. If they follow through with their threats the risk is that it will backfire by de-dollarizing much of global trade, in which case the US will no longer be able to have endless debt and export its inflation. I hate to say it, but I think the administration actually wants a direct war with Russia to preserve liberal hegemony and advance the Davos agenda.
We should all thank Ukrainians for their bravery. If they didn't fight, Russia would take over Ukraine in less than 3 days and next goal for Russia were Baltic NATO member states. This could lead to nuclear exchange. Now Russia proved their army is incompetent and their tactics are outdated, fear of Russia doesn't exists anymore.
As soon as I heard that China was possibly getting involved, I was thinking this.
In the US, anyway, it seems the odds are in favor: Russia tension including nuclear threats, recession/inflation, public anxiety. . .
I really wonder often what information is kept from the public that is of note.

I think if people are around in a 100 years, this will be on the history curriculum.
The start of WW3.
it’s a bit like the Balkan wars pre WW1, now looking back at those and the various treaties make you go 🤦.
Prior to the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, the Iranians and Chinese navies held exercises in the Indian Ocean.
There is the possibility that the Iranians could ramp up their fucking around in the Gulf and block the Straits.
There are a number of strategic targets in the world, 2 are the Panama and Suez canals, the other is the Straits of Hormuz.
Belarus is just a puppet of Russia and other than a border is not a real concern.
The Chinese are a strange one, backing Russia too much will result in sanctions, which means loss of manufacturing, they have seen major organisations cut ties with Russia.
A WWIII would not be a repeat of WWII or WWI. It would be fought much differently. Ukraine is at most a semi-proxy war and not WWIII. If the idiots in the current administration are dumb enough to get us into a full-blown WWIII over their corrupt plaything in Ukraine, they're even stupider than they are evil.
I believe this could turn into World War III, don't wait for these deadheads who tell you different cause their the same ones, who are seeking them fraud votes that Trump claims belong to him for the 2020 US Presidential Election, yes sad to say but their deadheads they have their mouth stuck up Putin and Trumps asshole ( Sorry for the foul language on your question )
it started when biden and the nato threattened to "bring democracy" to ukraine. make no mistake. for the ukraine, neither the US invading, nor Russia invading is a favourable situation. it's in effect litterally the same for them. though we in the west love thinking that we're "the good guys". we aren't. not saying the russians are "the good guys". just saying we aren't.
No. Not yet, anyway. Putin would have to be stupid/crazy enough to attack a bordering/nearby NATO nation (Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey) and/or a member of the European Union (Finland, Sweden) for that to happen.
it's just a conflict between russia and ukraine mainly, however more and more countries may start taking sides and attacking each other. hopefully not though.
First Georgia then Syria now Ukraine who does Putin think he is we got this in 3 stages: 1. Stall 90% 🇷🇺 armor on the highway and obliterate with drones 2. Wipe out 🇷🇺 artillery in massive wave of missile strike from every NATO ally on land sea and air 3. Take out Putin and put a general or oligarch in place who can do our bidding, China doesn’t have balls to act on Taiwan when SK and Japan are more than enough to counter them and throw India in obviously picking our side over China and Russia and we finally win and next we deal with the threat of Islam to Israel and the West. Case closed.
Russia invaded a neighboring Sovereign State without cause. Putin must withdraw his forces and resign from office and submit to a trail on crimes against Humanity and Crimes against Civilization.
Does anyone thin that Putin will do this Voluntarily? No, the Russian army must either withdraw and force Putin to resign. of the Russian People must rise up and depose Putin.
Removing Putin will take force.
Review your History of WW II. This is just how WWII started. The US will enter armed conflict soon enough.
As Assange once said in an interview, ww3 started in the Serbia - NATO war of 1999 and is still in motion with gradual military and economic wars. It's just a question of will it escalate and if so to what level?
No. You're overreacting. If it was Word War III, you wouldn't be on GAG right now, and we wouldn't have things business as usual.
A new Cold War has started due to the weakness and incompetence of Biden.
It's going to a Republican takeover in 2022 and 2024 to get it under control.
It's not a world war until Russia or some other country invades a NATO country or a NATO country starts lobbing missiles at Russia. Then it's really going to pop off
Well they did just blow up like 150+ Western mercs we gonna do everything to fuck Russia’s day up in Ukraine FOR SURE. Only way this will not end up being Russia v. Of USSR invasion of Afghanistan is of China bankrolls them 100% but they will never leave the West so they are doomed as well
World war requires much of the world actually involved in fighting. Not simply fighting by proxy. It could lead to a world war if it doesn't end soon before it escalates out of control.
Because at the moment people are talking not actually at war
Rip my country then finland might be the next place russia attacks.
i'd hardly call it a war. it's more like a land dispute
No. But battle lines are being drawn. It's not a World War till the other players join the game so to speak. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
Well I am sure someone will give it a name. Either way this too will pass.
Its the situation like World war 3 as economic development will crash for every country and all world people are suffering due to it.
It hasn't started yet, but it could really soon. One mistake by Russia and then it is an all out war.
If Germany is backing Ukraine then why were they blocking sancions against Russia and why they send them floppy weapons?
Nah because we're still alive... ww3 will be a nuclear wipeout
B. No, only if Putin invades Poland or other smaller countries.
Do sex and forget all this things...
No one will remember this after few months.
I'd say right now we are more on a cold war footing more than on the cusp of WW3, but one wrong move by any party and it's an all out war.
These are not wars - these are disputes designed to increase the demand for war materials like guns and bombs.
Joe Biden did a wrong step in the first place by focusing on expansion of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) to the east. And these are the consequences of that.
I dont believe it will escalate that far, but weirder things have happened
Not yet. Russia would have to "accidentally" strikes straight into one of NATO territory.
Russia has already lost the war. We're just waiting for them to officially surrender
REally? but all i see is them bombing ukraine
@awkwardddgirl Yes they have lost. We're just waiting for an official surrender
And Serbia and Syria. Syria has fighters in Ukraine and Serbia is about to have war in Bosina.
At this rate, it will happen to us Anatolian people. let's see when will we die
Nope but it can turn into one very easily.
It's a very delicate situation.
It could very easily turn into that
No, it didn't.
