It’s not important information, like other people have said people don’t commit crimes because of the colour of their skin. Usually the area they live in and poverty and so on are the biggest factors in play, and unfortunately black people, Asian people, etc. end up in those situations due to racism, prejudices etc.

So if different races of people in a community commit more crimes or crimes of greater severity than other races, we should just ignore that and not take it into account. They share the same zip code. We can’t say it’s because of where they live.

I am not sure how it works in your country but in my country we dont collect racial information for crime because its worthless data and the collection cost tax payer money so should not be wasted to appease some minority group of racists.

I think people need to learn how to dig into things and learn the reasons behind it instead of just looking at a graph and going “black people commit more crime” and leaving it at that

They should show it, that way it’s not being racist by showing the truth that there really is a correlation between race and crime. It’s already a known fact that the jails have over 80% black than other races

It’s stupid. Like showing crime by hair color. I think crime by income levels would be a more accurate measurement.
People don’t commit crimes because of their skin color, but they do when they are financially desperate.

actually wealthy minorities are over represented in certain crimes, so its not income

That’s to be expected in a system that treats minorities harsher than their counterparts.
I’m not saying people only commit crimes out of financial desperation, but it’s a big driver. More so than skin color I would say.
