I've just watched the highlights of her ex-assistant's, Kate James, testimony, and there is no doubt in my mind that she was being vehemently honest. Never once did she see Depp physically hurt Heard in any way shape or form, be it physically or emotionally. She describes him as a 'gentleman' and 'passive'.

I also thought that the moment she discussed how her son and Depp interacted was touching and very telling.

“Judge a man not by how he treats his equals but by how he treats his inferiors” falls true here.

Heard is an evil, self-absorbed, conniving person who deserves the book thrown at her.

I think men and women need to start really thinking long and hard about the type of person they choose to marry or be with. Because both are unequivocally “bowled over” by another persons looks/sex appeal. We subconsciously and consciously put this higher than personality and character, in more cases than we care to say.

I’m not blaming Johnny Depp at all, because you see cases like this everywhere. But the fact that we are so quickly infatuated by another persons physical, to the point that we dismiss the internal true nature of a person, is a human fault that absolutely needs rectifying.

I have not been following this case much, as it’s based around celebrity culture which I hate. But from a brief look, some things about miss heard just aren’t adding up.

However, Johnny Depp also come with his share of problems, that would put a strain on any marriage. I like him a lot, think he’s a good dude, but he had problems. Do I think that he was abusive? no. Hard work? definitely. She didn’t sound like no angel either though, and dragged her own issues into the relationship, which she is not being forthright about. Results; bad combination, toxic relationship.

Conclusion; Use the logical part of your brain as well as the emotional when picking your next partner.

Men and women should be screening all the people they're attracted to. They should be taking the time to get to know said person through dates and not rush anything.

I, for one, am guilty of seeing women through rose-tinted glasses, and I have been trying to improve myself. Far too often I would ignore small red flags until the day a massive one came up and I had ruined months, if not years of a relationship.

I'm not perfect, I know I'm not, but I really need to put myself forward more.

I’m exactly the same. I think a really good way of screening someone, is getting some trusted female friends to check her out. Men are not able to see through fake women very well, but women can figure out another woman instantly... just like men can with other men. I can always tell when another girl is being less than sincere.

I think it's pretty easy to spot the fakes nowadays. Usually the loud and obnoxious ones who talk trash. Of course there are those who are more discret about it... The ones men should really be looking out for.

I'm not proud of it, but I used to sleep with this girl who was with some guy. She was pretty quiet and pretty innocent-looking. Obviously had a lot going on internally and she's probably pretty insecure.

The thing is, for some gold diggers/attention seekers, they come with the traditional red flags. Others don’t. So, spotting one who is not acting in a conventionally worrisome way, is much much harder. Trust me, recruit some loyal female friends to suss her out.

Yes, from what I've seen she is a bullshit storyteller/dramatist. I've gathered that their relationship is/was generally toxic with faults from both sides. Neither of them are without their flaws. And I would feel awful if I was wrong about her but I don't think I am.
