What do you GAYS think of the fact that STRAIGHT people do not have do not celebrate a PRIDE DAY?

Because... they're the majority and don't face any kind of discrimination. Every time this 'straight pride' nonsense comes up it's from someone who clearly doesn't understand what lgbt pride is about.

The point of pride is to show straight people how many lgbt people there are, and that we aren't... these mythical creatures you'd never meet - we're you're co-workers, acquaintances, friends, family. We're all around you, whether you knew it or not.
(And of course this show of numbers also helps other gay people come out, too.)

Now, with that understood, what exactly would a 'straight pride' march being achieving? We already know straight people exist.

If all you want is a... generic celebration of sex and sexuality, hell yeah, I'm right there with you, let's have... a new Mardi Gras-esque event everywhere. I'm all for it. But cut the 'straight pride' crap.

I've asked a question like this many times on this site. Would London Breed (Mayor of San Francisco) even allow a heterosexual pride parade in her city?

London imposed the strictest indoor mask mandate in the country.

But since London knows that the vast majority of people are beyond stupid, she knew that she didn't have to obey her own mandate. So she and her homies went out to the blues club.

She knows that Covid is the biggest hoax ever, so she wasn't afraid to party maskless.

So in direct response to your question. No. Straight people can NOT celebrate being straight, because that would be considered a hate crime.

Those straight people who go to pride events are probably not very smart and get carried away by whatever excitement that happens to hit them. Or they may be socialists, and perhaps other graduates in a field which is unscientific who have been thought how to think in such a way that overrides there natural instincts and common sense and so act the way that they do. Where I live an organization wanted to have a Straight Pride parade. They applied for a permit and the liberal mayor turned them down. They took it to court and they won. They did have the parade. It had a good turnout and there was absolutely no violence. There was just a little bit of trouble from the liberal crowd.
