I think abortion is a heavy topic, if someone doesn't want to have a baby and is forced to give birth, the baby is the one who's going to suffer. In rape cases it should be only the woman's decision what counts, also in cases when both parents are too young. But, I've seen weird shit, women saying they would get pregnant only to have an abortion, some women are sick from the head and just wow, that's weird af..
There's no force involved in pregnancy outside of rape. To call it forced birth is disingenuous or foolish at best. Rape doesn't justify murder. Sorry.
@PatriceONeal It's a difficult topic, and I was against abortion because I'm aware of the harm it does to the woman physically and psychologically, but thinking about a little girl having to go through pregnancy after rape is just terrible.
I wouldn't go that far. It's essential if neither of the parents want the child, or if she got knocked up and he ran for the hills, or he got into a relationship with her thinking she'd change her mind once her tummy starts pumping, or she's stealing his sperm because she was manipulative, or she's too young — then like I said, abort the kid. But it's not essential healthcare. It's a choice.
100% yes! Last thing we need is women trying to give themselves abortions at home. They need to be able to go to the doc and have it done safely.
Or women could just not abort babies. Has that idea ever crossed your mind?

Yes, I am a nurse and while not in obstetrics or L&D, I have always believed that this is unquestionably healthcare option available to all.
Ever heard of the 10 commandments? “That shalt not kill” applies to unborn children too. The ONLY positive thing about abortion is that baby automatically goes to Heaven.

Give me the statistics from a credible source:
1) What %age of abortion receivers are rape victims? Keep marital rape out of it.
2) What %age of abortion recievers are at a life threatening situation for the mother?
Less than 1% of abortions account for rapes. But still rape doesn't justify murdering the innocent 3rd party. Idc what feminists and democrats say.

Pregnancy and child birth have its own set of side effects that can be long term or deadly.
The women body heals naturally from the temporary “side effects” after child birth. And women have been doing it since the beginning of time or you wouldn’t be here talking to me if it was that serious.

@UCrayCray Child birth, Especially in developed countries, have an extremely low morality rate for both the mother and the child. Remember that abortion is a medical procedure that is considered a failure if both the mother and the child survive.

@leighbee Yes, I’ve heard that the system for that is bad. But maybe more focus and funding should be placed on that, so it could be improved. I agree foster care should be better than it is. But that’s a whole other issue in itself!
