You want to talk about woman’s rights in Islamic countries? Birth control is legal even in Saudi Arabia yet some assholes in government want to work towards banning birth control in republican states. I didn’t even care about the whole abortion topic but who the hell is anyone to tell me I can’t prevent myself from GETTING pregnant while having sex with my partner? Who the hell is anyone to decide over my body and life like that?
Not just that, but pregnancy is avoided during rape because sometimes the victim was already taking a contraceptive to begin with, yet these assholes a fucking sperm is worth more than a woman’s life?

The US had (technically still has) some of the most barbaric abortion laws in the world, surpassed really only by countries who are actively committing genocide. Even most red states have or will have laws that are less restrictive than what is considered average across Europe, where most countries not only cap it off at no later than 12-14 weeks, but you have to be recommended by a doctor. As long as any state in the US offers abortion up to the moment of birth, then any American can take advantage of it, and the US is still an outlier and definitely not in the direction of being a better society.

There is also no law stopping you from preventing a pregnancy by taking precautions beforehand. That is probably the dumbest, most ignorant thing in your rant.

I'd rather people use birth control instead of getting pregnant. I disagree with casual sex, but if people are in a relationship I think it is totally reasonable to use birth control to better plan/time when they will likely have kids. Maybe they are going to move soon, or change jobs and don't want to risk the added responsibility yet. Birth control should be available.
