Because women should automatically get custody because fathers should have no rights to their own kids right?
I swear, most women hate equal treatment under the law and only want preferential treatment.

Custody should automatically be 50/50 with no support paid by either person. they take care of them when they have their time with their kid.

Lmao who said that the man shouldn't have rights? I didn't. a lot of men don't even want part custody when they ask for DNA tests. They just don't want to be parents. a lot of u don't even stay long or come around persistently afterwards. Just come around every blue moon , thinking one gift or a happy meal for the child and a conversation is being a good parent. But not there at all when the mom really needs help. Therefore , I said child support should start after evidence is seen.

If the man is there for the child or is really trying to be there and the woman isn't letting him then he can use that against her in court. people who are guilty always slip up so he can take her to court for custody.

@crossdressingrihno there a study made on the odds a man has of rasing a child that is not his own.
You might think this study could not be reliable or bias. Well in this case this is done in literally every country in the European Union. Do you know what the average was? 3. something % don't remember exactly it was close to 4%.
Why am I going to worry for 4%?

Yes, 100% administrative action the parents have nothing to do with. The child is swabbed as is the man identified as the father by the mother. If the DNA is a match the birth certificate is issued as they are today. If however there is no match the process moves to the courts to decide paternity. This way a female can NOT baby trap a man.

      @IceCreamSandwich. No.

There are really THREE victims to paternity fraud: 1) the man who is paying for, bonding with, raising a child who is not his. 2) The REAL father who doesn't know he has a child and isn't given the opportunity to be the child's father. 3) THE CHILD who never knows his/her ACTUAL FATHER.

Okay. So paternity test your own kid and don't sleep with other men's women. If other men wanna have affairs and not bother about checking if their women did the same, why should someone else step in and force them? It's not like having a baby daddy instead of an "adopted" father will make the kids life any better. It would probably just lead to them having a single parent and/or a parent who dislikes them even more. I don't see why the government should get involved in every birth just because some people cheat and mess up their own lives.

@IceCreamSandwich. I am against big government as well, but consider this. When a woman has a child she decides who the father is and has his name out on the birth certificate. This man is arbitrarily financially responsible for that child until age 18, whether he is the father or not. THE BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON THE MAN TO PROVE HE IS NOT THE FATHER, which can take a year or more. During this year+ he has to pay child support. Once he is proven not to be the child do you think he gets a refund? No fucking way. Does the woman gets punished? Nope? I simply want to make the burden of proof "equal". Isn't that what feminism is all about?

      Reply
    • IceCreamSandwich

Who's talking about feminism? If you want to make it equal, why not argue that the man should just have to give permission for his name to be put if there has been no paternity test? Then women can't force men into it, and paternity tests are still optional unless one party demands it.

      Reply
    • KrakenAttackin

Because at present women get to decide which man pays for the child. Do you know how many men have been sent to jail for not paying child support for kids that aren't theirs?

      Reply
    • IceCreamSandwich

Yeah, and at present paternity tests aren't mandatory. Either solution would make men not be able to be forced to pay when they're not the father. Only one would involve government mandated blood work. So why do you want that one?

Keeping women in line—I thought this was about protection? Equality? Give men equal power as women for putting names on birth certificates. Then they are protected from being forced into any responsibility against their will. And the burden of proof is on the mother to prove he's the father if he says he's not.

Would that not fix the problem? How could you still say women need to be "kept in line" when they would have no power to force fatherhood on anyone except who they can prove is the real father? How could you use such a flimsy vague complaint to argue for exhaustive, national, mandated DNA testing?

@IceCreamSandwich. The fact that you are so resistant to the idea tell me you don't have much experience with women and that you are not a father. Wait until your cohorts are a bit older and start experiencing these issues, your eyes will be opened.

That’s the whole point of having the test. Blood is better. You can extract blood after a certain time period. I only know what I would do.
I think Child support only goes in effect if that person is not doing everything they can for their child. Some men even put themselves on it so they don’t have to be bothered with the woman.
I wouldn’t want no one to question if that’s their child and I wouldn’t want to that child to wonder where their father is.
