Why are "Canadians" (whom are our kin) acting so much like Americans (aka Rebels)?

BritishRegular

For starters, "Canadians" have been British since we sailed over there and took possession of the place in 1755. Any Indian or "French" person there had all but been wiped out of bloody existence. Whom did the Rebels combat when they went up to Quebec? Us, the British! What city did the Americans/Rebels burn to the ground in their War of 1812 (the sequel to the Revolutionary War)? Toronto, a bloody British city! Who burned Washington including their leader's mansion a year later in retaliation? Us, the British!

Canadians speak our bloody language. Their currency is our currency. Their flag was the Union Jack until the some bloody maple leaf replaced it!

Furthermore, despite all this, the Canadians have been successfully assimilated into American culture; "hockey" and "basketball" as opposed to cricket, this gillie/peasant music which they call "country," unhealthy cuisine. Even the Canadian ladies are turning into gillie women like those in the American colonies.

If only Canadians remained British and drank tea and wine, as opposed to this "soda pop" and ale (only the low class Englishmen drink ale). And listened to classical music as opposed to this so-called "country" music and Caribbean music. And if their women dressed and acted like ladies rather than these hedonistic gillie wenches like Rebel (American) women do.
