Should I feel sympathy for stupid people?

When people do stupid shit, why do women always show sympathy for them? I'm a man and I was told as a child by my father that you will reap what you sow, that every action has a consequence. Like Karma. I do stupid shit I pay the price but when other's do stupid shit I have no sympathy for them. Like kids doing stupid stuff high on drugs and drunk who drive their car off a bridge and die. I would keep running and act as nothing happened and say this was fate. Darwin lives in us all and it sorts out the stupid from the smart.

You can logically justify your attitude but it still is a bit more noble to also show compassion for other flawed human beings.
