I'm Turkish but I look like Russians, no one believes I'm Turkish, do you always think Turks are brunettes?

I'm not blonde like northerners, but I have pale white skin, hazel eyes, dark blonde hair, and my features are soft. I've been to many European countries, no one believes I'm Turkish, they always say you look like Russians. There were even some people who said bad words like Turks are dark, overweight or even ugly. People who think that I am Russian and come to me sometimes move away when they hear that I am Turkish. I am an educated and open-minded person, but when they hear that I am Turkish, people who act warmly at first, then they act distant. There are too many people of mixed cultures in Turkey, there is no uniform appearance. In your opinion, what are the physical characteristics of the Turks?

Given where Turkey is, and the position it traditionally held, both in the Ottoman days and the Byzantine ones, I've always pictured it as a place as diverse in appearance as it is in culture. I don't know if that's actually TRUE, but I'd be surprised if it was far off.

You are right, most foreigners confuse Turks with Kurds and Arabs. Although there are many brunettes but there are many color variations. The population of light-colored people increased with the Balkan and Russian migrations. Turkey is a mixed country, it is not only made up of brunettes, unfortunately the media and some people think that way.

Haha, it's a very political comment :) The new generation is in lighter colors, though. I can name many celebrities such as Mina Ceran, Melisa Döngel, Burcu Biricik, Didem Soydan. In fact, there are many people in light colors in the society, but once tagged, there is no going back in the memories :D

No I never thought about it but I'm more likely to have parents raped by an Armenian. I hope I do not have the origin of someone who, before the genocide slander, forced babies out of the wombs of Turkish women and raped them and plundered villages by collaborating with the enemy in wartime, I am not dark like Armenians anyway, they also contributed to the browning of society.

Occasionally, one will run upon a USA, Canadian, or Russian mix with a darker skinned Middle Eastern or more yellow Asian. In those cases blue/green eyes and black hair. What are your features? And, that is in Central Asia mostly.

My skin is very white, my hair is variable like light brown/dark blonde, my eyes are hazel. I'm not blonde in brunette either, but interestingly, they think i'm Russian in my country, the same in Europe. I have a straight small nose and full lips, some likened it to Russians because of my facial features. By the way, the rate of brunettes in Turkey is not as high as one might think because it is a country with a lot of Balkan immigrants.

Gotcha... Yes, Ukrainian (that I know) or middle America... Having frequented Albania and Kosovo dropped in on a few more Balklan countries, I am familiar. I know the Russians/Ukrainian recently filled your countries. All the Turks I know here, are "typical Arab". Lighter skin being where the difference lies.

Yes, definitely, there is a lot of color diversity in Turkey from the old political structure. We have received a lot of immigration from Syria and Arab countries in the past and now. Most foreigners, who do not have a good grasp of the subject, think that Kurds and Armenians are also Turks.

I know about the Kurd thing from some that I played Soccer with in University. I found their tribal analysis... Shiite, themselves, Sharia etc enormously interesting. And he traced it through history. My roommate was also Bengali Muslim. I am now in an adult league with some Turks. From Ottoman to present... They and a Kurd has been asking me about MAGOG from since Russia went into Ukraine. You were born and raised in Turkey, then. Dad and Mom white-skinned?

USA with pale English skin light brown eyes brown hair. eyes go greenish tone and chocolate depending upon shirt.
