I didn't see the harm I saw curious kids askin to try some suncream. Ended up telling her to bugger off, idiot of a woman honestly
Wtf did I do wrong?
You did nothing wrong. Someone's kid has sun block applied. All its mates want the same, even if it is not stricktly necessary. One has an ice cream. They all want an ice cream.
That woman was not thinking about her kid (s) wants, as opposed to needs.
My oldest is olived skin and I always applied factor 30, because I'm a redhead and just need to be out in the sun a few minutes i burn, so I'm cautious with it, to me kids need protection from the sun, it burns it blisters and it leaves us scaly, plus skin cancer risk, i dont care what colour a bloody kid is, if they ask who am I to decline
Having an ancestor from North Borneo, I am quite dark too. I still have to use buckets of sun block when at a naturist venue. I burn the same as anyone! 🤣🤣
Maybe she was expecting that you would ask her for permission first? But going on a rant like that makes me doubt that's the reason. I guess she's just one of those crazy ones. Don't feel bad.

I mean she's right. Black people don't need to wear sunscreen.
So I should of said no due to them having darker skin? Thought we were meant to treat kids equally
So next time, just ask their mom before you put it on and let her deal with it.
Nothing. Some people are stupid.
They are messed up
