Why are Minnesotans so anti-social?

Not wanting to put anyone on the spot but I'm a Minnesotan who is moving out of state. I was born to an immigrant parent and someone who is not too far removed from immigrant ancestors. I've noticed that there seems to be some kind of anti-social tendency with Minnesotans. Could someone care to explain? Is there some sort of cultural norm that I have missed my entire time living here?
