I just saw The Purge: Election Year and I got a sense of deja vu at the end. It looks similar to what happened on January 6. Granted on a larger scale. People refusing to accept the results of an election and unable or unwilling to keep protests peaceful

I am not saying the election was stolen, nor I am saying it wasn't. Biden won, that is what history will say. People were unwilling to accept that and protested. The protest in Washington D. C. turned violent. All these are facts.

Yeah. It had nothing to do with agent provocateurs and feds. Absolutely nothing. It was all inspired by a movie. 🙄

Not saying that, saying it resembled a scene from a movie. I see a lethal injection in a movie and one irl, I don't assume the one irl was inspired by the scene.

Like the protests in DC in 2016? That violent? Like BLM burning cities in 2020? That violent?

The protests at the end. They're more similar to what happened on January 6. The rest of the movie doesn't really tie into anything happening here.
