Why do the American people tend to commit mass murders in the United States?

I used to think that such events usually happen in underdeveloped countries, but the United States is a highly developed and prosperous country. Its people are also in better condition than the citizens of many countries. Why do the American people get into the mental state of committing mass murder?

If you never expose yourself to local news in other nations then obviously it seems this way. I'm sure that if I call my relatives in Europe and ask them how many mass murders were committed in their metropolitan city, I bet they would count at least one on a daily basis. And at least five shootings or stabbings where the victim survived.

The murder rate in the US is almost exactly in the middle compared to the rest of the world. Other countries just don't sensationalize the hell out of it like US media does. Other countries also don't have so many people with agendas intentionally distorting the numbers. A high percentage of numbers you see on this are complete BS.

Mass murder happens all over the world, murders in America are just overly publicized and it they are overly publicized because America is full of agenda and marketing

Well it's not people in general, there is a very specific demographic of people what commit mass murders. It's not people in general.

There are a lot of people who feel disenfranchised in America today. the only way they can have a voice is to get a rifle and shoot up an elementary school.

Thats one of the issues with having freedom of religion and freedom of the the masses. Jones town was one such incident I am thinking of.

Plenty of countries have easy access to guns; one of them being Switzerland as a prime example, who are arguably more armed than an average American family. I'm yet to hear about a mass shooting in there. And Switzerland isn't alone in this regard; according to different stats, in France, 1 in 5 people own a gun. Finland, dubbed "happiest country in the world" has approx 34% of armed population, but these are just *registered* numbers.

Still, they're quite armed; same goes for Finland, same goes for France. Yet, gun-related crime is quite low in comparison.

Thus my point still stands; US population is the problem, not guns.
