Why you gotta show me this? Stuff like this makes my blood boil and makes me end up on the FBI's Most Wanted list for what I feel like doing to Biden right now. Worst part is, even if you put a bullet square through his head, it'd change nothing, cause he's not really in charge of much.

RIP to those 13 service members. They should still be alive right now, instead of that old decrepit sack of shit in the White House right now. I'm not even going to think about all the worse shit Obama did in his day.

It was one of the biggest fuck ups in American foreign policy. Just a colossal shit show. They reassured us that it “wouldn’t be like the Fall of Saigon.”

It was much worse. So much worse. I don’t want to get started. I have buddies who served in Afghanistan. It was shameful what the Biden administration did and he deserves to be impeached.

But hey, Biden is nearly 80 years old and hasn’t faced any consequences his entire life. Why would he start to now. 🤷‍♂️

I served there. The Taliban knew the US would leave eventually Obama basically said as much when he increased troops in his first term.

The Taliban waited until the US military left and stopped fighting except for some IEDs. They took a province, we went in and they retreated. They used the time to train their troops in Pakistan and had young Afghans serving in the militaries of other Muslim countries to gain experience and training. Huge amounts also served in the afgan national army trained by US soldiers and Marines so when the US military left they had thousands of well trained troops trained and armed by the US military and her allies, the Afghan national guard collapsed without a fight. Al Queda was the real enemy and later ISIS. The Taliban got punished but the US recognised the Taliban when compared to ISIS was the lesser of two evils and I suspect a deal was made with the Taliban. The taliban were not going to try to fight the US military in open battle even as an insurgency and the US government was not prepared to leave the US military occupying Afghanistan for 50 years which is what it would have taken.

When all is said and done unlike Iraq the US government has no real economic intrest in Afghanistan that justified the money being spent occupying it.

Leaving Afghanistan was the right thing to do. But like everything else, his planning and execution are crap. The exit was deadly, the border issue is deadly, the crime issue is deadly… he is a mess.
