Since the universe seems to like to repeat patterns. Wherever the edge may be, do you think the universe itself is round? Or do you think it’s something else? Wormhole back to the beginning or into another perhaps? What are your thoughts?
I took a psychology class, and the teacher said that it's impossible to imagine something you've never seen.
Of course, a student challenged him.
Student: I've never seen a horse with wings.
Teacher: Have you ever seen a horse?
Student: Yes.
Teacher: Have you ever seen wings?
Student: Yes.
Teacher: So then you're just taking two things you've seen and sticking them together.
I think the human mind can't even comprehend what the universe is, let alone the shape of it. Does it even have a shape?

It really depends on what you mean by the word "round". I don't think the ultimate shape of the universe is something we could actually comprehend. But we do know some basics. If the universe rotates, which is something we should expect, then time travel is possible within it. Meaning that there are paths in the universe that lead to the past. The universe could ultimately be "curved" meaning that there is a slight curvature we cannot perceive. Which means if you traveled long enough, you could end up right back where you started.
But given our limited technology, we see no evidence of that.
One thing is for certain, the universe is far stranger than any science fiction book or human imagination.
Universe - "all existing matter and space considered as a whole; the cosmos. The universe is believed to be at least 10 billion light years in diameter and contains a vast number of galaxies; it has been expanding since its creation in the Big Bang about 13 billion years ago."
If the Big Bang theory is correct, then it stands to reason that an explosion in space would be spherical as it expanded in every direction.
A question I have is, is there absolute nothingness beyond the cosmos. It's expanding somewhere, right? And how do we know if there are other cosmoses or anything beyond the theoretical limits of the cosmos?

The Universe has no border aka no edges therefore no it's not round.
Would be as if one said the air right in front of them was Square. Wouldn't make sense because air is just all around you it's not a thing with edges.
Gas it's self is not a defined shape nor is water. So to think the universe must be a shape is a short-sight as things right in front of you prove not everything has a shape.I don't believe we are even able to articulate what is beyond the beyond. We simply haven't the vocabulary. It would be like marine life that live at the depth of the oceans, trying to articulate what life above water would be like. They have no reference point, no understanding. Such is the same for us humans, any explanation given can only be within the dimensions of our reality.
Kind regards,It can't be round because then there is something outside and if it's something outside it's part of the universe too right even if it's just vacuum. Otherwise it's just a new discovery, and we need to name it. Just like we do with other forms of the universe.
''Round'' is a human concept of perception.
Assuming that it's expanding into its potential endlessness, I dare to say that it has all possible shapes at the same time.
No idea but I know it is expansive and there are 100s of galaxies. Only the Creator can know the answer to your specific question..
Our concept of the universe is limited to 3 dimensions
No. quite the opposite. Few things in nature are perfectly anything, let alone round.
To establish that we would need to look at the Universe from outside. Well there's nothing outside the Universe so it's impossible to define its shape.
Ya I'm my mind it's round.. Or some kind of spherical loop
Well, the earth and other celestial bodies are not flat. I would have to say it would be round and how far round goes is finite.
It is in itself infinity. No bounds or rounds, limitless far beyond our capacity.
There is literature on this.
No it is flat.
