They are right on the first account, but what incredible hypocrites.
Both parties are twin cancers on America.

but hey guess what? when a war breaks out with Russia, China, North Korea or some country in the Middle East, men will be forced to go to war even against their wishes.
what happens to "our bodies, our choice" then? are men to be sacrificed on the battlefield?
Simple, really. It's because they consider the fetus a different person. With that viewpoint, there is nothing hypocritical about using government to protect a life.
Except they consider life as beginning at conception, so again from that perspective it is perfectly reasonable.

They are not, they are telling people to not kill unborn babies.
Another possibility, perhaps they learned it from "my body, my choice" people who was totally ok with mandatory vaccines? How come the my body my choice argument didn't matter regarding vaccines?
A clump of cells isn't a baby. Not saying any restrictions can't be reasonable, but it sure ain't 2 weeks of pregnancy.
They're not telling women what they can do with their bodies, they're telling everyone not to kill babies. What's difficult about that to understand?
Is that why they are trying to ban contraceptives? I see no evidence that the Republicans are protective of the lives of children in any of their other policies but there is a clear pattern of policies targeting the reproductive rights of women. As such, I can't with good conscience believe that Republicans are simply doing it out of morality for the life of the child. It is just a convenient excuse.
As long as it's "social interference", they don't mind it, when it BENEFITS them
But, "taking their guns", isn't allowed, LMAO
Very wise, young padawan. Now, of which other parties and candidates are you mindful?
Untrue. There are several other parties and lots of potential candidates. The two major parties are counting on people to believe exactly what you responded. They don’t even have to offer decent candidates as long as people think THEY are all we’ve got. We’ve given them no reason to change for the better. Why should they when voters continually reward bad behavior?
The problem is the other parties get so little attention that you really don't get any information about them unless you take the initiative and dig.
I find I have become somewhat Libertarian on some issues, but their seeming belief that the government should do hardly anything goes too far for me in general.
It's not THEIR bodies. It's the body of their child.
English please
They don't tell women what to do with their bodies.
You can do with yourself what you want, but not with another human being.
Goldman Demos! I told that Greek asshole to stay out of politics!
The GOP always preach about freedom when they are all about control.
An unborn child isn’t their body.
@UCrayCray And?
@UCrayCray No. It isn’t. A baby has a unique genetic code, a unique circulatory system, a unique nervous system. My dick goes in your body, does it become your body at that point?
Your dick doesn’t live off the vitamins and nutrients of my body in order to sustain it’s life. It doesn’t compromise my health, and it doesn’t take one of life’s most traumatizing events for it to get out.
You didn’t really believe that was a good comparison, did you?
@UCrayCray You made the statement that if it’s in your body it’s your body, not me. You’re very blessed to be able to nurture an unborn child.
I apologize. I stupidly assumed you understood those massive differences between your dick and the unborn.
Yeah, I agree that it’s a blessing, for those why are willing to endure it. It’s not a blessing for the unwilling. Not even close. The whole experience is incredibly taxing on ones body. So much so that the person who must experience it should get the choice if they want to or not.
@UCrayCray I didn’t realize pregnancy just happened due to random chance.
@UCrayCray Yeah, but that’s not the majority of abortions, is it.
@UCrayCray You're correct. It doesn't make a difference. It's murdering an unborn child either way.
@UCrayCray Really? Then why was Scott Peterson charged with two counts of murder?
@UCrayCray So if you kill an unborn child aren't you taking that choice away from him/her?
@UCrayCray So it's ok to abort an unborn child the day before the mother goes into labor? During labor?
OMG! 🤦🏻‍♀️
Is there any stupid right-wing talking point you won’t pull out? Do you personally know any women who would abort while in labor, outside of being told by the doctors there isn’t any other choice for whatever reason?
I don’t. Not one.
Know why? Because no matter what they try to tell you, women generally don’t carry pregnancies just to abort before birth. Pregnancy is so taxing on the body that most women are not going to endure it for no reason. It’s almost like you have never even known a pregnant woman?
I still support the choice being left to those involved for the entirety of the pregnancy. I think they should have the ability to make important decisions in the moment, rather than having to wait for the decision to be make by a committee who has no personal involvement.
How much would you appreciate a procedure being stopped midway so lawyers could consult on your medical issues?
@UCrayCray You put down a lot of words to avoid answering the question. Is it murder to abort a child the day before it would have been born?
“You put down a lot of words…” Yes! I thought we were having a discussion.
Was I wrong?
You didn’t ask if it was murder, you asked if it was okay. I thought my response showed my position, but I guess you need a little more clarification.
Personally, I think if you have carried a pregnancy that far, you have consented to the pregnancy and childbirth itself, so abortions should be used in medical emergencies at that point.
Now…for the rest of this conversation, I only want to focus on 12 year old rape victims who get pregnant. I understand that they are such a small percentage of abortions, minuscule in fact, but I want to focus on that because forcing 12yo’s to have rape babies makes you look like a monster, and supporting her having abortion makes your pro-life position look like bullshit.
Or, we can just talk about who has the ultimate say in what happens to your body.
Who decided for you?
@UCrayCray I just want to know if you think it's ok or not? Is it acceptable to abort a child the day before it's born? Why are you having such a hard time taking a stand either way?
@UCrayCray Ok, so you think it's fine to kill an unborn child the day before it's born and see no moral issues with that?
@UCrayCray I glazed over it after you started off with "right wing talking point, blah blah blah". This is why there will be no negotiation with you lefties on abortion. You want the right to kill a child the day it's before its born. That is purely evil.
@ucraycray when you want to know who the extremist is, look in the mirror.
Lmao 🤣
The reason why you can’t negotiate with “lefties” is because you don’t bother to hear, or comprehend what they say. You would rather ignore their actual words and just argue against the extremist liberal you created in your head. That’s not unusual around here, almost all those I disagree with like to argue about points and positions I haven’t expressed. It’s what happens when all you have is taking points you heard from other people and haven’t really given it much thought beyond that. 🤷‍♀️
I’m sure, even if you did read and comprehend the words I posted, you will still ignore them because they don’t reflect what you have already assumed about me and my position.
I do have to extend some congratulations to you. You did get about 4 words into one post. Even small steps forward are still forward, which is good thing.
Let me know when you actually make it to the end. I’ll post balloons and wine glasses. We’ll have a real celebration.
@UCrayCray I love when you attempt to be condescending to me. It really shows a lack of intelligence on your part. Funny how you accuse me of 'spouting talking points' when you've done nothing but regurgitate pro-abortion talking points. Ironic, isn't it. So, we'll go over this once again. You said you're ok with a woman choosing to abort a child the day before its birth. So there is no limit in your mind on when an abortion is morally, ethically, or legally wrong.
That is an extreme position. That's not a rational position.
@UCrayCray "I still support the choice being left to those involved for the entirety of the pregnancy" those are your words, are they not?
Is that all you read? Come on now. There were more words than that. If you put all the words together, they provide a narrative. You know what that is? It’s like a bunch of thoughts all strung together that can help bring about an opinion.
Go and read the entire post, with that thought in mind, and maybe you’ll be able to
put together my real opinion, and stop leaning on the ideas you attribute to the extremist liberal you created in your head.
Go on. Give it the old college try.
@UCrayCray You should try a job as a 'fact-checker' Now's the part where you tell me what I read wasn't really what I read.
I could do the job of a fact checker. I understand that the end of sentence isn’t necessarily the end of the thought. I can read multiple sentences and know that they work hand in hand to complete said thought.

You read what you read. But like many of you I have encountered on these pages, you dismiss context and ignore nuances.
How does one even communicate effectively with someone like that? Honestly?
