How do u react to people trying to manipulate you?

Depends how I feel. In a general sense, if I've rested well. It's time to exercise my skills. I've been a qualified psychotherapist for over 10 years. I'm the worst person to try and manipulate because I am the cat and you will be the mouse.

In a romantic sense, I walk away but not after telling you about every single failed attempt of manipulation that the person thought they were skillfully pulling off.

I don’t understand why they won’t just be honest I’m very good at reading people I know when someone is being disingenuous and I always cut them off not for trying to manipulate me but for the lack of integrity and trust people who try to manipulate me misjudge my character and it’s disrespectful if you need something just ask

Depends upon whether or not the manipulation attempt is towards something I'd like to do anyway. If not, I avoid the person after that.
