How can a single woman survive if the electrical grid went down? Why am I wrong?

I've recently come back from Africa and It become crystal clear why women over there have different standards than western women.✨

There was no stable electrical grid over where I was at😰 and the things we take for granted, like a tap that pumps out hot water consistently, consistent internet and phone line, hit home for me in a real way.

I couldn't find a single "feminist" in that country, there really wasn't a thing as an, "independent strong woman".

I realised that this was because there was no Police force at your disposal. Your protection was the community and the men in it. There was no 'going alone'. This had me thinking as I sat in bed one night, how could a independent female survive a hit to the energy grid?

The first thing that would happen if such a thing ever happened, would be a coalition of wedded families to form strong communities for resource harvesting and sharing, the second thing that would happen would be that all those guys women call "Incels" and "brokeys", would hit the streets going house to house, looking for these independent women. It wouldn't be pretty.

How would you survive if the electric grid went down? Does the modern feminist mantra put women in a seriously dangerous mindset that just couldn't survive a hit to the electrical grid?

I like this question. Putin is considering destroying the electrical grid in a part of Ukraine (the city, not sure) and the women there will also have to deal with this if they are not married or have a family.

I don't know what part of Africa you went to, but there are some countries which are more capable economically (Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, and some others) to try and help those in need in a crises such as this, including women. But to those who live in impoverished areas, they either will need to depend on their families for help, or themselves. They can survive without internet but not without some communication to let them know about the status of things, where to find water, shelter, and so on. She must put ion more effort to feed herself, find water, make her home safer, and possibly have to barricade herself against intruders. Sadly this happens to many people in different countries without the absence of an electrical grid. Look at Puerto Rico during Hurricane Maria. I have a cousin who lived with no electricity for 8 months.

That's a very important point you brought up about Ukraine that I didn't even consider, maybe that's why women were shuttled out of the country rapidly when war broke out. The threat of the grid being brought out is enough to get women out of the country ASAP.. I went to visit a friend's village in Congo. What a crazy trip! One I'll hopefully make again soon :).

I have always wanted to go to Kenya just for the sights.
I am assuming you mean if I lived there? Well, for one thing, I'd stay with family if I could. If that were not possible, I would prepare myself the best ways that I could. Had there been warnings of this about to happen, I would have stored as much water as possible somewhere in my home, and store many dry goods/food in a cool place (underground spot maybe?). I would barricade the home; shutting windows/doors/ and other entrances. If I lived there -- I would have bought myself an emergency radio that would work with no electricity. Besides that--there would not be much else I could do--except if I had a car (and that would be very risky) I would try to flee to another neighboring country.

I do think the argument you are making about women needing men to protect them from men is very true but a deeply pointless argument, with the greatest of respects.

Women also need the infrastructure that was built by men, to enjoy the ideologies like feminism that you are thinking out of at present. Without that infrastructure, you wouldn't have the time to think the way you think. Your days would be spent retrieving water from the well everyday just to have a shower and boil water for diner.

Creating Eutopia for women isn't realistic. Most of you wouldn't last a week. Rogue men would search for you every single night. No time for ideas of Eutopia.

One of the reasons western women are they way they are is because they think the role for a man is optional. They feel safe, they can earn money, the state will provide.

They still like us around (although they won't admit it) and they still need us (although they won't admit it).

I've noticed that mindsets like "feminism" were birthed out of western infrastructure. Feminism and modern day hate for men, the trivial concerns about whether he's pulling in 90k and is well groomed, couldn't exist without that infrastructure.

Without that infrastructure, women spend their days fetching bath and drinking water There's not much more she has time for.

So the irony that became painfully clear when I returned was that. The west has this quite magical and remarkable infrastructure, that freed women up to think up ideologies like, "the strong independent super woman", that women genuinely believe can be sustained without men.. and is destroying relationships in the west.

If single as I'm young and attractive, thin and athletic I would attach myself to the strongest most high status man I could regardless of his age or martial status would happily exchange sex for him to provide protection, shelter, food. For example a women I know was concerned about potential violence in a bad economy. She's like it's getting bad, and some people are projecting there could be riots and looting if the banks collapse and a currency reset occurs. She's the type that gets miffed over things like the "wage gap"... I'm like that's more so in urban areas that are densely populated. In the morning I'd be drawing up plans on how to get from A to B without alerting the village girls that I was up and about.
I was being followed on the streets daily, women offering to fetch me things. Women getting their father's to introduce me.. it was crazy!
