JFK is more likely, though I think it's most probable that the government didn't so much order it as allowed it to happen and then proceeded to cover it up. MLK was being blackmailed as a deep state/government asset towards the end of his life, his death didn't really benefit those people much, and the opposition to the government establishment would've more greatly benefitted from exposing that relationship than making MLK a martyr.

Regarding coverups, there's a bizarre trend in US politics in which it's considered better to brazenly lie about something to give the appearance of having everything under control and in the hands of the best of the best, than to actually take responsibility for a screw up and deal with it appropriately, if not just outright profiteer from the situation. There is very much a mindset of "let's just get this over with because I don't want to be involved" when it comes to investigating anything regarding the highest offices and actual criminal activity might be found; political smearing crap that gets the people talking but doesn't legally do anything is a different story entirely, though.

I don't agree, but that's only because I haven't seen enough evidence yet. I have no problem believing that the government is capable of doing appalling things like that and frame someone else for it. I mean, it's pretty likely the Titanic was never sunk, but it was the Olympic sunk in its place for insurance money, and they didn't mind mass murder to get that money. It's also possible it was a covered up German attack on a civilian vessel that was actually secretly carrying weapons for the Brits and French. Peoplr with power tend to be fucking monsters, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them selectively assassinate people for their own interests.

No. But plotters within our government did. Some of those plotters held high public office and some worked for clandestine agencies (CIA, FBI?) and colluded with outside actors from organized crime and/or foreign governments (Israel?).

I forget the mafia boss name but he ran Louisiana which is 45 minutes from where i grew up, and lots of stories of him taking credit for it on his death bed.

I have a conspiracy theory of my own. JFK and MLK were killed by LBJ on the order of FDR and the KKK, with the help of the CIA, FBI and the DEA using DDT. They later on blamed it on the KGB, but the agents were taken by UFO's into LEO.

I don't know what the USA government is. It is composes of many different agencies and many people that are employed by various agencies and people elected and appointed. I would not be surprised to learn that J. Edgar Hoover, V. P. Lyndon Johnson, and someone or people in authority in the CIA or some combination was involved.
