What's a practice you've seen in other countries that you'd like to see practiced in your home nation?

For me, I'd love to have some kind of initiative for subway public transport in more cities than New York and Chicago. It would be a big boom for the economy, make a lot of new jobs, not to mention make travel easier and make it so that cars aren't the requirement they are for so many people and make it so much easier for people who can't afford cars to find a job where they can more easily save up the money to afford one.

I'd love to see America make it common to court the traditional Japanese way. Commonly going out in coed groups to get to know each other and figure out if anyone likes anyone else in the group. And where one person confesses their feelings outright, then the other person either accepts a date or turns them down right then and there. Obviously, it's not always perfect, but they are still so much more efficient than Americans in that regard. We have too much of a tendency to play endless games and cause misery.

I hate being stuck behind slow-ass drivers who do 45mph when they merge. Then stay at 55. Then when I have quite a distance to go it takes forever cause I'm stuck at *ahem* 75mph.

If the US had an autoban then I can just let'er rip and fly down the highway and get to North Dakota in 5 hours instead of 12.

California through several billion down the high-speed rail program that was never intended to work. Too many of these programs are simply political patronage filled with corruption.

I heard that in France private companies are forced to abide by the Constitution. I would really love to see that implemented in the U. S.

I would like to see pharmaceutical ads banned. I would like to see less-corrupt government control of our food safety.
