We can only control what we can control. Meaning: our emotions, our thoughts, going to work, how we live our daily lives, etc. But life overall and its unexpected turns cannot be controlled or foreseen. We may get psychic senses here and there that something bad is going to happen, but we never really know what that it is until it happens, unless the sense is about a person and keeps pressing on you.

Aside from all that, no we don't have entire control over our lives because if we did so many people would do or be exactly what they always wanted to. But life gets in the way and alter's paths. Just how it is.

Yes and no, I don't think we have control like we think we do, we have control in how we can react to things that happen to us but we don't get to choose what happens in life, they just do.

Often it feels like others have more control than I do, such as when someone is going 30 mph under the speed limit and holding me back... I have no say in that, but I can choose to exercise control and response to it by passing illegally to get around them or I can exercise control by putting up with it, but is accepting something really control?

No, I believe that I can control certain parts of my life but not everything. For instance I can control my thoughts and my actions but I cannot control what others think of me. Or what they want to do to me.

If you can make choices over it you can control it. Every choice has a consequence. Control is created by the choices you can make, the less choices you have to choose from either bad or good, then the less control you have.

Your boss doesn’t actually have control over you, he has power. You can choose not to listen to your boss, but the consequence is you won’t have a job afterwards

To some extent, I can control your life. While I may not be able to control everything that happens to you, I can control your thoughts, feelings, and actions, which can influence the direction of your life.

For example, I can control the way you behave, what you choose to focus on, and how you treat others. I can also control your habits and force you to engage in activities that teach you discipline.

I don't think so that we can control our life. We can control our habit our emotion and good and bad deed. In fact we are always go where our life has already written but we think we choose our path but the fact is the things we are facing or choosing things person has planned already we are just walking on that path and hat we are doing while doing on that path is our life and our return we get in this life that's called karma.
