We see this even in trivial things as well. When I was single, I put "no white women" on my Tinder bio, but that didn't stop many white women to match with me. When I asked them why, they always said that they were Latina, Jewish, or had a POC ancestor, despite being visibly white.

There is nothing wrong with having a love or fondness for a culture that you are not a member of. A lot of folks have fondness for Japanese culture, but they are not Japanese. African-Americans, for all the hate people have for us, still are loved culturally around the glove. People love the music, the customs, the slang, fashion, etc. all around the world.

But that is totally different than someone pretending they are African-American or Japanese. When a person does that, they have psychological issues. Because anyone can say, "hey I am "White", but I just love this culture".

How you connect that to "White" privilege is beyond comprehension. But riddle me this, every single day, vitriolic hatred is post about "Black" people in this forum. Many times folks are justifying and celebrating the deaths of African-Americans. How in the world is that not "White" privilege?
