Anonymous(36-45)+1 yYes, he will go to jail where he will be forced to stay because the judge will not grant him bail because he is a flight risk because he has his own jet and the judge is a former tenant of Trump’s so he will remain in jail indefinitely. Trump will try to make bail by using his Silicon Valley Bank Debit Card but will find out his account is frozen while the Federal Reserve sorts through things. He will then be sent to Rikers Island in the same cell that Jeffrey Epstein say in. Putin will see how powerful this NY DA is and will immediately surrender Russia to Ukraine and NATO unconditionally so that he can be spared a jail sentence at Rikers Island. He will also send Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi an written apology letter for using misinformation to get Trump elected. This will cause gas prices to skyrocket because the rich powerful oil company CEOs will all realize how greedy they’ve been and stop drilling for oil. This will instantly cause the public to go out and finally buy a new electric vehicle like they should have in the first place. The electric grid will easily absorb the added demand because electricity is intangible and is free anyway. Meanwhile, the republicans will all become scared about Biden and Kamala defeating Trump, Putin and Big Oil and saving the planet that they will all switch parties and give the democrats a supermajority so that we can finally make Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia a state so they won’t have those license plates with Taxation Without Representation written on them anymore. Biden will be declared the automatic winner of the 2024 election and will be sworn in for 5 more years or 85 years old, whichever comes first.

I'm pretty dead set on voting DeSantis, but something like this makes me want to vote for Trump out of pure spite towards current-day Dems.
They (Dems) won't do it though... they love Trump in a sort of backwards way... they love him with hate. Like stuff going on now over 2 years still gets blamed on him, it's reaching peak retardation. It's so dumb with the Orange man bad narrative that I'm starting to see a lot of "blue no matter who" people start to ask WTF? The media class on the blue side of things just needs to learn when to stop. Nobody will even be talking about Trump and it will be one of them that brings him up as if it's relevant.

634 Reply- +1 y
It's not stupid to arrest someone if there's reason to arrest him. Too bad many people don't believe in the courts unless it's the outcome they believe or want. Any politician should be held accountable to the law just like the rest of us.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 The judicial processes hav been used as a political weapon by the left for the past 6-7 years. This is more of the same by a VERY politically motivated prosecutor.
- +1 y
I keep forgetting the left is the reason for all bad things in the country. You can say that all you want but both sides play that same game. The issue you're getting away from is that if he's arrested it's because they have reason and actual evidence to do so. You can be upset and say why doesn't that happen to Biden or whoever else on the left you dislike. The reality is the right will continue to go after Biden and his son for as long as they can. My thoughts are if they do anything illegal (and have actual evidence not speculation) then arrest them all. Trump is not as smart as people think he is. He can't keep his mouth shut and is his own worst enemy. What my concern is the stupidity of people that will probably riot because the don't "believe or feel" Trump did anything wrong and just deny the evidence they show against him in a court. And hey if he goes to trial and he Trump gets off then so be it. You can't be pro America only when the courts are in your favor.. if you actually believe all the courts all the judges are against trump you're just sour.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79
"I keep forgetting the left is the reason for all bad things in the country." No, according to the Democrats, everything bad that happens now is Trump's fault. . . remember?
"The issue you're getting away from is that if he's arrested it's because they have reason and actual evidence to do so." This couldn't POSSIBLY be politically motivated?
"He can't keep his mouth shut and is his own worst enemy." I agree.
"What my concern is the stupidity of people that will probably riot because the don't "believe or feel" Trump did anything wrong and just deny the evidence they show against him in a court." Are ou eually concerned everytime there is a BLM or Antifa riot?
"And hey if he goes to trial and he Trump gets off then so be it." Like with both of those impeachments?
"if you actually believe all the courts all the judges are against trump you're just sour." No, don't believe that at all. But it only takes one prosecutor leading a grand jury to indict someone. - +1 y
I am concerned when there are riots period. I don't agree with them. It's not the right way to go about it.
The democrats blaming trump for everything is a silly conversation because the Republicans blame Biden for everything. It's just a silly argument that both sides play.
I do believe it could be politically motivated as all as justified. Politically they understand trump could win in 2024 and he could also deserve to be arrested.
It only takes one prosecutor... correct... as they can do to any democrat as well and I say go for it if you can get them on something legitimately. - +1 y
I've been saying the same thing for years. All the stupid liberals in this country are going to get Trump elected again by continuing to go after him instead of just ignoring him. Their attacks are just making him more popular and more powerful. They don't learn.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 The law has to matter for all people not just us. All politicians including Trump should learn from this IF he gets arrested. It's not stupid to hold uphold the law even for an ex president. Don't learn? I can understand your fear but fear of him being reelected isn't worth leaving him alone and setting the expectation to other people after him that they can get away with anything.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 I don't fear him. Also, the Manhattan District Attorney doesn't have any federal authority.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 remember this is about arresting him over the hush money to stormy Daniels. This arrest would be because NY does have the authority because this was based out of business dealings in NY. We don't know the actual evidence they have but as of now it's being alleged he falsified business records which is a misdemeanor in NY and possibly falsifying business records in the first degree which is a class e felony.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 The allegations in question concerning Daniels were during Trump's presidential campaign. Bragg has no jurisdiction to bring charges.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 you keep saying that but would you source something that supports this? Also we don't even know if they're going to charge him. Trump saying that might be correct but it might not. If they charge him and he doesn't have jurisdiction then I'm sure it will get tossed. As far as I can see I'm not understanding how they don't have jurisdiction. I'm not na lawyer so of course I could be wrong. Time will tell.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 Why does he not have jurisdiction?
- +1 y
All of this allegedly happened during Trump's national presidential campaign. It would be a federal case, if anything. Bragg is the Manhattan District Attorney. He's not the United States Attorney General. He's not even the New York State Attorney General. It's a political stunt, it's going to backfire, and I'm going to laugh.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 I agree that it is a political stunt. It is a stupid stunt and I'm sure Trump is smiling because he knows this wll help his campaign.
However, the fact that this happened during an election campaign for a federal office does not mean that ONLY federal law applies. There is a vast body of law concerning the circumstances under which federal law preempts state law claims and I do not think preemption covers this area. . . but I don't know the specific allegations made against Trump this time. I stopped readin about this nonsense after the second failed impeachment.
If the Democrats weren't so fucking self-righteous, they would realize how stupid they look, but. . . they are that self-righteous. History will remember them quite unfavorably. - +1 y
Here's a question. Is it really just a political stunt if he did break the law? Call it a stunt if you want fine. The right does this all day long as well sending immigrants to other states as an example. It's easy to want to brush it off as just a stunt to feel better that your guy isn't guilty of anything. Remember we're all on the same team really. You should want your politicians held accountable to the law just like you want the democrats to be. Asking why democrats or Biden isn't arrested for whatever is a silly argument. When he's out of office if they can get him on something than they should
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 "When he's out of office if they can get him on something than they should" If Biden has broken the law, why must we wait until he is out of office?
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 Nothing will happen to Joe Biden either, even though his dopey son Hunter saved every potential alleged illegal thing they were doing (for whatever stupid reason). The Secret Service will never allow any former President to go to prison. It's a huge national security risk.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 Prison is not the only available sanction that can be imposed.
- +1 y
@OlderAndWiser Well yes, they could try to impeach President Biden, but who wants Kamala Harris as President?
As for Trump, I agree there's other possibilities, but anything other than a felony conviction of some sort (which would make him ineligible for election), they're just going to turn him into Obi-Wan Kenobi. - +1 y
I think there are laws protecting a sitting president from being prosecuted while on office. That's what I was referring to.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 key word alleged yes. Alleged doesn't mean guilty. But if he is then something should be done. The secret service part is heresy on your part. We don't know that. It could also be a national security risk if a president is doing something shady and it's proved. wouldn't that be a risk to national security if we didn't set an example? Again if it's truly justified
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 It's not hearsay. It's Secret Service policy. Having a former president in prison opens up a myriad of national security issues beyond crooked dealings.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 would you mind sharing a source for this policy you're referring to? I haven't had luck finding anything that states this is an actual policy.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 It also is not the prerogative of a law enforcement agency to make decisions about whether to prosecute a crime.
- +1 y
@OlderAndWiser Not the decision to prosecute. The decision to serve a prison sentence if there's ever a conviction.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 That decision is made by he judge presiding over the criminal trial.
- +1 y
@OlderAndWiser Former presidents aren't just normal citizens like you and me. They can go through the legal process all they want (arrest, charge, trial, conviction, sentencing, etcetera). None of it will matter or mean anything, other than to put on a show for the general population. The Secret Service will never allow any former president to serve a prison sentence.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 This seems like hearsay. If you're suggesting under the law they can do this then site the source. Under what legal authority are you referring to because under the secret service faqs from their site it suggests nothing like this. Also there are many articles where lawyers are suggesting they'd have to protect a president in jail if he were imprisoned. That alone would not be in line with your statement.
www.secretservice.gov/.../general
Just one article around secret service following him in prison. There are many like this
www.businessinsider.com/secret-service-agent-protect-trump-jail-prison-state-federal-crimes-2021-1
If you're suggesting they won't let it happen by going rogue and outside their legal capacity somehow then the secret service agents involved would be probably charged with something.. what I don't know.
I don't think you are correct based on my findings but if you have a legitimate source to correct me I welcome it.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 It's not a "rogue" issue. The numerous security issues that would be generated by putting a former president in president in prison, even separated from everyone else, would be a logistical nightmare. It's never going to happen. This isn't "Men In Black" where they can just flash a device that'll make Trump or Biden or whomever completely forget any national security information they had access to during their presidency. So that's a nice article you posted, but it doesn't even scratch the surface of the issue being discussed.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 Ok so you don't have anything more than hearsay. I'm not trying to be a pain. This is your opinion. If secret service is with him and he starts spewing secrets off then he would be liable for more punishment. For ex if he's sentenced to a year in jail... leaking classified information is up to another 10 years. There's nothing stopping him from leaking anything now. He already thinks he's untouchable.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 It's not an opinion, it's not hearsay, and no one is talking about leaking secrets voluntarily. A former president in prison would be a major target for our enemies around the world. Do you really believe that the Secret Service is going to post all of their classified protocols on a website that any random person can access? Same goes for the CIA, FBI, DOJ, etcetera. Come on now. No former president of this country will ever spend a moment inside of a jail cell. That's a fact. Anyone waiting for it to happen is borderline insane and detached from reality.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 Got your message. There's no point in more back and forth. Thanks
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 Yes. Agree to disagree. In case I wasn't clear, the same goes for Joe Biden. It doesn't matter what they find on Hunter's laptop, or what indictments he may face after office. He's never going to prison either. It's not a political issue. It's a national security issue.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 Yes you did make the point about Biden clear as well. I definitely understand your answer.
- 2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yNo. The liberals in this country all seem to be hell-bent on getting Trump elected again in 2024. They don't seem to understand that the more they attack him and go after him, the more popular and powerful he becomes. Their inability to learn to just simply ignore him will be their undoing.

You make it sound like the arrest is politically motivated. I thought no one was supposed to be above the law in the US?
- +1 y
@AngryCarl2 It is politically motivated. The Manhattan District Attorney has no federal authority.
No. It would set a precedent where ex presidents, current presidents, ex& current politicians could be jailed. For the democrats and Republicans this would be mutually assured destruction. Imagine if Obama or George W Bush got jailed for their crimes.
10 ReplyYep for a finger printing... Once you open the door to arresting former presidents, you can take down Obama, Clinton, Bush, etc. Legal precedent has to be set in order to get the real criminals.
First indictment [unseal] will trigger mass pop awakening.
First arrest will verify action and confirm future direction.
They will fight but you are ready.

@OatmealMuffin fake raid of course. He did telepathically declassify all the documents he admitted to stealing and refused to return after being advised to before the fucktards had to take it back.
