To an airforce base, and about got shot! lol There was no way in hell they were letting me in. But I guess drag queens can get in. I'm not against drag shows (as long as there's not children present) but I sure as hell don't want my tax dollars paying for them. Military bases aren't POW camps, the troops get to leave and go places, so let them visit drag shows in the private sector. If it turns out this guy is lying, what should happen to him?

Speaking from experience, "essential to morale" is the equivalent in the military to pulling the race card in an unrelated argument; it's a fallback phrase that gets used usually by someone with the authority to override pretty much anything anyway to justify an action that virtually everyone is against, or doesn't make any logical sense, so it's even more often used sarcastically. Of course back in 2014-2018 this usually referred to mandatory social events and ego stroking sessions rather than drag shows. It is extraordinarily rare that anything done in the name of boosting morale actually has that effect.

There was also no shortage of degenerate establishments in military towns where soldiers who actually want to see this stuff could easily go see them on their own time.

This is happening all over the country, and all I ask is that the military leaders stop lying about it. I believe what I heard on the radio was a congressional hearing, but the Republicans are all bark and no bite. They puff up and act tough, and then that's the end of it. It doesn't help that the dork grilling the military leader was stupid. The military guy said we "don't support it" and "don't fund it." OK, so remind him he's under oath and ask him if it's happening on military bases. What could he say. There's tons of articles about this, and this jerk needs to be court-martialed if he's lying to congress.
