Anyone else loosing there faith in democracy?

I’m loosing my faith in democracy, we the United States elected a guy who have now responsible for it 2 Saigon style pull out one in Afghanistan, one in Sudan reading thousands of Americans behind. I believe that Joe Biden is personally responsible for the rape of Afghan women. The murder of Afghan women who don’t want to wear a hijab and go to school, and be able to read along with the murder of our allies in the region is presumably the same things going to happen in Sudan. We blame Hitler for the slaughter of Jews in ww2 and the death of millions of civilians even though he didn’t commit any of the crimes himself. Hitler in World War II yet we still hold them responsible for every single death in Walmart to make sense. Why not do the same thing for Biden sure it’s less deaths sure if that’s rape but he is still responsible for every single one of those races, as he might as well got his dick out, and will rape those women himself and a gun out and shot our Allie’s himself. Yet no one will say anything. not to mention he is responsible for the of deaths in the Ukraine thousands of deaths is not 1 million at this point in Ukraine, he is responsible for Russia, being bold enough to go into Ukraine in the first place. But we can’t necessarily blame him. We can in the sense that he did it but we need to look at what allowed him to do that the fact that he was elected in the first place the fact that the American people said we want this blithering idiot to be our president now I honestly think he should be traded the head for war crimes, because of what he’s been doing.

Not only that he has basically run the economy into dirt. The international community is now thinking of going to the yuan Brazil, France, Saudi Arabia, that will only grow if Biden if elected again he has caused us to go into a recession which he won’t admit so a depression is likely to come.

so tell me, why should I trust democracy if democracy allows for a guy like this to get elected?

I never had much faith in Democracy in the first place. It is however the best system we have currently so in lack of better options, Democracy it is. One day I will have my robot overlords but it is not this day.

But on a slightly more serious note, wow.. You are delusional. I mean for starters, who do you think is responsible for what happened in Afghanistan? It was Trump that organized that shitshow by giving the promise to the Taliban that USA was going to leave on a specific date which meant that USA could no longer negotiate with them because they were fully aware that as long as the planned and prepared to overthrow the government then they could get anything they wanted and take control over the country.

People keep calling Trump a businessman, maybe this would work in a business deal (I personally doubt it) but in international diplomacy you dont tell your opponents what you are going to do, especially if it literally ruins everything you are trying to achieve. Not only was Biden forced to leave because Trump had given the word of the US president that they would honor the withdrawal but there was no way that the Taliban would agree to anything that would help USA when they had already won a total diplomatic victory against USA.

As for Russia? Biden had nothing to do with that either. Putin had long since decided to invade Ukraine and it was not because USA was weak but because Russia is desperate. They had no problems going after Ukraine both during Obamas presidency as well as Trumps. For example, during Trumps presidency in 2018 there was an incident where Russian ships fired upon Ukrainian ships and captured them. This would have been a perfect time for Trump to put his foot down but he did not. Do not act like things would have been different with Trump in charge when we literally have examples of him not giving a shit.

I am not even going to talk about the economic and political crater that Trump left USA in but that is honestly besides the point. USA has been in a tailspin for literal decades at this point. The Republicans in particular has completely brought you to your knees and yet here you are, believing their propaganda.

The problem with Democracy is that people like you exist. People who are so lost that they can't be reasoned with. People who can honestly look out into the world around them and think that pouring gasoline on the shitshow is the only way to make it better. You are the cancer of humanity and perhaps one day you might even be the death of us all.

It's not really a problem with democracy. They problem is that different types of systems work better at different scales. There are no good systems that work well at a very large scale. The US has just gotten too damn big. The bigger it gets, the more distant and out of touch our representatives get.

This is the main reason why I think the US federal government needs to be drastically cut back, and governance given back to the states and localities where it was intended.

It's also a major reason I'm against massive immigration. We are losing more than a Congressional district every year due to immigration. Our vote has gotten severely diluted. Eventually it gets so diluted that it's a democracy in name only.

We are not a democracy, we're a federal republic. The word democracy doesn't appear even one time in either the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution.

And it's losing, not loosing. People not putting in the time or effort to become educated or competent is one of the major reasons things are so bad these days. People used to care deeply about these things.

You'd think there would be global protests and peace actions. But everyone is so conditioned, numbed... they won't rise up til it's too late, if they ever get sucked in and pay the price. The videos of the war alone are so much like a video game to many,

The system is fine. People have lost their respect for it. There's too many invisible hands out there manipulating it. It's why bloodletting is coming and even that is unlikely to save it. We are on schedule for the crumbling of our empire (of states and territories) much like previous empires. They last about 250 years before they culturally and economically collapse. We are likely to Balkanize into 3 disconnected regions; Coastal and big city elites, The Bible Belt and the Western fly-over country excluding California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado and New Mexico. Texas, itself, will split. And Russia and China will have outlasted us.

We were never a democracy, we are a constitutional republic. It's easier to gage what everyone all across the country wants. In a democracy, everyone in the cities would be the ones deciding what those who don't can and cannot do, much like how it is in the Hunger Games.

Trust me, you don't want a democracy. It's just a nicer way of saying mob rule. A republic isn't perfect either but we had that system for a reason.
