When they disagree with average opinions. Everyone does this at some point but ones who are constant with logic reasons to why are often intelligent because simply average people aren't so their opinions bulk into an average while outliner answers stand out.

Let's say a film gets really popular let's say it's a marvel film most average people are gonna go see it think it's great but the ones who aren't will realise the amount of potholes in it and been a shameless cash grab rather than a passionate project.
This might be deemed as cynical or thinking about it way to much but that's exactly what people will say to someone more logical than emotional.
