Not really. Lying is an important social skill one needs to employ in modern society for things to work harmoniously. Just like speaking the truth however, lying comes with a lot of responsibilities it it might get misused. The hallmark of a good liar in my opinion is if they make the world a better place by choosing when and where to lie.
