What would you think of a man who claims, more than once, that his son died in Iraq when he actually died from brain cancer?

I'd think he's either fishing for sympathy or he's just a SPECIAL kind of idiot! Yeah, I KNOW Joey said it a number of times!! He lies through his fucking dentures!! He talks to dead people, tells recent stories about thing he did with people a couple years ago who died 20 years ago!! The rest of the world LOVES this shit!! I'm AMAZED that no one has bothered to attack us, by now!! Maybe they have enough ethics not to kick someone that's obviously lame!! Maybe they want Trump back in because they don't want an easy victory. It's like, if you brag to everyone about how you beat the piss out of some old lady in a wheelchair, nobody's impressed with you and actually think you're a fucking asshole for picking on a weakling that can't defend herself!!

A pathological liar who has repeated bullshit so many times that he actually believes it. They're a dime a dozen in politics, but most politicians haven't been doing it for 5 decades straight.

Said individual he is referring to was also a JAG officer, who is effectively a soldier in name and on paper only, and won't ever be anywhere near combat, even in a shit-hits-the-fan scenario. A chaplain is more of a warrior than JAG. That isn't to say JAG doesn't have any value or respect (though I have some choice words for a few of them), but there are things they simply are not.

Personally I don't know where he was when he learned of his brain cancer diagnosis 🤷🏼‍♀️. I do remember seeing him on tv talking about it when it happened.
He had so many close relatives that died. His then wife and daughter, his son Bo. But then he recently get's news that Hunter has a four year old daughter and he doesn't want anything to do with his own flesh and blood granddaughter. And who really knows where his daughter Ashley went? News came out about her diary growing up around him - then they made her disappear.

I've heard it said before that you can't pick your relatives, but you can pick your friends. In Joe's case he does pick his relatives.

... as much as I dislike Biden and don't condone the bullshit he does and says a majority if the time, and especially when it comes to military servicemen, I will take this with a grain of salt.

Unfortunately his more squared away son did die of brain cancer and not Iraq, I truly think the man is cognitively not there. I truly think he does have worsening dementia and it just hasn't been publicly disclosed.

I know people will say he's a liar, but it could just be a senility or the onset of Alzheimer's. Not something someone should just chalk up to him being a liar. It can happen to anyone of us as we age.

The son, Beau Biden, probably died because of his service in Iraq. It's not the same as "in Iraq", obviously, but considering Trump started his presidency claiming the biggest inauguration crowd and went downhill from there, it doesn't seem to be that terrible in comparison.
