Are you willing to take a migrant family into your home (under conditions)?

Lets say there were some reasonable conditions and controls employed. Would you be willing to house asylum seekers, temporarily?

Justifications...

A) They are here, the govt is housing them... you can house them... YOU ARE the government!

B) They are just people... that need shelter, things to do. They cannot get jobs legally, so they could do work at home in compensation for a place to stay. Cook, clean, tend the garden, trim trees. Govt is paying for all healthcare and insurance...

C) Most people have some extra space...

D) It's an opportunity to learn a new language, new culture, and make some friends for life

I see only positives at this point after some basic conditions are met:

1) The are deemed not a threat.. e. g. criminals

2) Vaccination schedules/diseases are evaluated

3) You have a right to evict them... back to the government

I'm a yes vote, personally speaking... Wife/family approving, I'd take in a small family. I am... a bleeding heart liberal at times... a gun toting, Trump voting... liberal conservative!:)

And do you find it offensive if people offer to help these asylum seekers? There are many jobs (volunteer and paid) open... e. g your govt is paying... taking resources from you to handle the asylum situation... and there is no end in sight...

The issue is that by harboring somebody that entered the country illegally you are encouraging more of this behavior. When Presiden Trump implemented a wait in Mexoco policy the hordes of people that we are now seeing stream into the country all stayed home.

it seems ludicrous. nyc is out of hotel space for asulum seekers, but so many rooms in the WH is open. It's a public building too! Kamala harris was at the white house when she waived... for thme to come in the country, I don't know why I didn't see this before. Put bunk beds in there...
