Why do western people complain when someone wears clothing like this?

I've been wearing this moroccan djellaba all over my vicinity in the east coast, I live in a southern state and whenever I wear it there's white, black, Hispanic, Indian and Asian people who stare at me and either think I'm a grim reaper, a kkk ripoff, a terrorist, of course I'm not offended and it does help me converse with polite people. The only reason I stopped wearing it was because a bunch of cops one day blackmailed me to stop wearing with a law initially meant for the kkk. so now I have to wear stupid western clothing, it sucks to because the hoodie of the djellaba protected my face and eyes from the sun.


It's funny how women in America and Europe only like Africa and the Middle east for đıçƙ yet when a young skinny adult man wearing clothing from either of those places like me wears it and embraces north African culture they turn into karens and Becky's and have the cops black mail me to stop just because they think I'm "conceiling" myself when really it's just to create conversations.

Muslim women wear burkas that covers themselves from. Head to toe and it's for modesty purposes, when I wear the djellaba I unhoodie myself when asked to by a proprietor of an establishment and give my name when asked.

I'm the only guy so far wearing this maybe because everyone else here would rather wear their synethtic jeans and synethtic t shirts with brands of billion dollar corporations on them. Also western clothing is uncomfortable and less practical
