As long as it isn't around my kids, or directed at me. Generally when people are cursing at you it isn't a bad idea to prepare for combat. Talking has little use at that point generally.

It used to bother me when I felt it was the most aggressive language to express.

I understand now- it’s just made up jargon. Most use it out of sadness/ anger/ frustration. Even those who use it jokingly would have some underlier of pain to it because they’re not pretty words lol

and that kind of comedy is the kind where people grow up in a world and try to have a laugh despite it’s bizarre-ness.

To be honest- I applaud Ryan Reynolds because I don’t think I heard him ever use profanity. A lot of comedians tend to. If he has, it only was once or so, but he does a great deal of irony and sarcasm. I love that guy <3.

As for the profanity now- I don’t judge people. Them cussing me out is the least of my worries lol and it just kind of is what it is. I wouldn’t get butt hurt if they said the word ‘blue’ or ‘chamomile.’ Like what? It’s just a vocal expression. It’s not that deep lol

Anyways, actions speak louder than words. I wouldn’t break out the bazooka if someone said I was a bitch lol 😂 I’d be like: “wow that’s nice, were you trying to find 5-letter nouns to attribute to me? That’s the only one you could find, huh. Good effort, buddy.”

It doesn't bother me, but I do think profanity is a "limited resource" if you cuss all the time it doesn't mean anything. When you get really upset there is nothing more you can say. But if you almost never use profanity, when you do, it has a huge impact because of the shock value

I don’t care, they’re just words. I swear a lot in everyday conversations. The only exception to that is when children are present. I try to censor myself around kids, and I expect others to do the same. Don’t need children repeating the colourful language that they’ve heard.
