being good looking has a lot of favorable advantages in life such that it can influence someone's perception to be more positive than it already is. the reverse is also true

studies have been conducted on this where positive traits are attached to other positive traits and negative traits are attached to other negative traits. it's called the Halo Effect/Devil Effect

in Djokovic's case, him not being as handsome means some negative traits are prejudicially attached to him from the start and he has to fight an uphill battle
