To assert my viewpoint and how it is correct

To change the mind of the person on the other side

To broaden my view by hearing and understanding new information

The Indian philosopher Deepak Chopra said that humans spend 90% of their mental energy defending their points of view. But it's a waste of time. Your views don't need to be defended. I like Trump and DeSantis, and I hate Biden. No one on this site likes Biden, but most hate Trump. lol It doesn't matter. I hate raw fish, and you can't change my mind. lol
