Why are women so upset over "passport bros"?

I have seen video after video of western women going OFF because men are going over seas to find better quality women. In Sweden, their feminist party is literally working to OUTLAW men bringing women to Sweden to marry. The vitriol, racism, and classism, western women have toward women in the east, is shocking. Western women shout "we don't want these pathetic men anyway," but these same women are furious. One women was posting a TikTok (of course) from the Bangkok airport and she was livid that there were so many "medium ugly" western men with "beautiful Thai women". Her default was a racist tirade against Thai women who "don't know any better, lack education, barely speak English, are desperately poor", etc. I saw another video of Philippino women posting a rebuttal, which was hilarious. These Philippino women speak English better than 90% of western women, were clearly well educated, but discussed how they value family and respect men as the head of the family.

Western women, DO BETTER.

Allow me to represent the female population here since literally everyone here is male: most women don't even think about this. I didn't hear about it until I got on GaG and I'm pretty sure it's not even that common except for people with strong cultural ties returning to their "home region" to find people with similar culture/values, but that's not gendered.

That said, I do have concerns about men going to less developed countries and bring back woman who are using a foreign marriage to escape economic hardship. On one hand, of course I want these women to have better lives and I have no real issue with immigration, but doing so via dependency on a successful sexual/romantic relationship really presents a concerning dynamic. I'm not sure how common that situation is though.

Frankly, any guy who's going abroad because he thinks at all western women are terrible is not someone I want to be around and I'm fine with them looking for someone elsewhere, I'm just concerned about what their attitudes and behaviors might mean for the women they do become involved in. I'm also concerned that the men may be recognizing positive traits in the "femininity" of other cultures and not realizing the responsibilities and cultural expectations that go along with that. (As in, they see the women fulfilling their idea of femininity and being a good partner, but the women have different implied expectations that aren't inherent to American culture and walk into the relationship not realizing this.)

However, as long as both people are full aware of the situation, it's implications, and both people's expectations; are not being pressured by economic hardship or political climate; and have support/options when they reach America should their marriage not pan out, become abusive, or otherwise fail, then I don't care who anyone marries. As an individual, I'm primarily concerned about the potential for abuse that these situations create.

The only women that are upset are the ones that aren't wife material. I think it's probblaby smarter though to try to find a woman in the west that is part of Church group, or find her at a local library, museum and so on than to spend a ton of money to go abroad. These podcasts only pic up women at the strip club and then complain she isn't wife material. It is the male version of the angry feminist only dating men from prison and complaining men are violent.

If someone rather fly abroad that is up to them. Hope they find what they are looking for!:)

Women are so incensed over "Passport Bros" because they see the resources they want walking away from them, when you add to that the majority of men are no longer chasing them in the bars and clubs, it is beginning to become apparent to women that they have monumentally screwed up. While they may get the 'chad's & tyrones's', it is beginning to sink in with them that the 'Good' marriageable men want nothing to do with them, to men it doesn't matter if the women are 'boss babes' own their own houses, are in well paying jobs etc, that is what women look for in a man, not what men look for in women, Men are looking for a woman who is kind, nurturing, and is willing to build a family with a man.

I've travelled the world through work and found once you get outside of 'Western Civilisation the vast majority of women are the kind of women that men are looking for, even after I made it clear that I was not looking for a wife I was still well treated and usually with little drama.

Western women have dug themselves a hole that they have to get themselves out of, and the first thing that will have to change is their attitude,

Since "#MeToo" kicked off in 2006 women have been telling men to 'Go away' & 'Leave us alone', those same women are the ones who are complaining that no men approach them in bars and clubs and the "Passport Bros" are going abroad, so ask yourself who has caused this exodus by men and why men are doing their own thing, focusing on their careers, generally happy, not incurring debt the don't need to (mortgage etc) saving and buying any property they want outright.

White women think they own white men. They think we belong to them by right. They think they're entitled to us and our lives and money. They think they run the show and call the shots. They think they know it all. They think we must accept them no matter how many flaws they have and how shitty their lives are.

And then an Asian woman comes along and breaks their "monopoly!" I mean, their perceived monopoly on white men... Of course they get angry! In their minds it's humiliating to face the consequences of their own actions. It's humiliating not to be pampered by men. I can understand why white women see Asian women and Latinas as an existential threat.

White women aren't religious anymore, but they demand us to be a reincarnation of Jesus Christ... Always ready to turn the other cheek and give them "love" and "redemption" no matter how shitty they are.

It's devalues their currency. We've got obese strong independent 30 + year old women who consider themselves 10s and won't settle for a gut that's not 6ft, making 6 figures etc but imagine the shock they get when all these guys that weren't good enough for the likes of them can go to Asia and come home with a younger, thin very pretty girl who puts in the work pleasing her man and will bear his children and HD can be sure the kids are his and she's not going to cheat on him with some guy, leave him and takes his kids with half his money and get child support and alimony

Very few women are upset about that. Of course, those do not post a video about how much they are not upset.

Those that are upset are often the same ones who think that prostitution is generally bad and exploitation of women. They are concerned by the transactional nature of the relationship in which the relative poverty of the woman is a key enabler of the deal. Some few also hate men and would prefer that men who are unsuccessful in Western dating should be deprived of sex. This is a minority even within those few who care.

Most Western women would not want the least successful 20% of men for themselves so they will be indifferent to seeing them go. This applies especially to men above 70 still wanting to go for women below 45. No issue to have Thai women take care of them.

Sweden, like much of Europe, is lurching to the right so maybe they'll struggle to push through such laws but in any case this sounds like mail order brides rather than passport bros who live in another country with their new wives.

I presume the Western women who kick off about this resent any happiness the men find with other women who themselves appear content to build a life with a Western man with a stable income.

I presume they resent the men being happy because they cannot find similar for themselves and use shaming tactics and reputation destruction typical of women.

An income which might be average in a Western country but is worth much more in other countries, making such men appear good value and a good choice.

As a guy not from the West, I can't really understand what's going on with the feminist & LGBT movements in the West. I've seen men and women marry outside their country here and it's honestly not a big deal. Why is marriage viewed as some sort of power struggle in the West? I can't generalize gender-relations over there as dysfunctional but all this buzz about toxic feminism, MG10W shows a very disturbing trend.

It's also disturbing how the women commented here automatically assume "passport bros" as some predatory people. When those women move in to the West, they'll probably have more rights there. If at all, the biggest gamble is from the man's side because he has so much to risk from all this.

I’m not upset by it but then again two of my good friends are Asian women married to American men, and I’m glad that they all seem very happy. Whatever people have to do to find happiness is fine by me. My mom met my dad by going to a different country and my second boyfriend was European. So, it’s good in my book.

I'll just say the very much needed bonus for me to be in Thailand (kind of a reason too but I can do without it) is due to the easy girls there. Imagine getting a girl being as easy as going for it and not having to jump through entire hoops.
