I believe the powers that be came for masculinity first as strong men would never allow what's happening today.
The powers that be want weak men. Its not so much that weak men have allowed anything, more a case that men as a whole have been weakened through the food the eat, what they drink, the education system, the family, porn, the media, colleges, work places, the legal system, even sport and their finances.

Partially, yes. Because men have been the power structure of a nation. Judicial, gov, financial, etc. Men have been the ones making the rules that hurt other men and give women advantages.
Women having lower car insurance premiums? Men created that, not women.
Women getting lesser sentences for sexual crime? Men came up with that, not women. Because men are secretly aroused by women doing sexual things with young children but especially boys.
Women having their way with feminism? Men let them, because men are afraid of standing up to women.
Men have allowed many things that hurt our society, women just exploit it.

Well, yes and no. The reality is that during the vast majority of the time a very large majority of people follow the lead of their elites. We have horrible, deeply subversive elites who set out to weaken and degrade the common people, especially men. Consider how men are portrayed in popular culture, especially the loser fathers shown on sitcoms. The government and elite-backed activist groups attacks any male-only club or space (Boy Scouts, etc.) as “sexist.” This is not because they are sexist, but because this regime knows that if men have the ability to organize it is a threat to the current elites.

Boys raised without fathers in the home tend to become soy boys, thugs, and degenerates. The vast majority of rapists, murderers, whores, strippers, suicides, drug addicts, and homeless were raised by single mothers. We are seeing first hand in these fucked up modern times that the destruction of the family unit means the destruction of society, just look at places like Portland or San Francisco where people are sitting in the streets and you can't get EMS because they are too busy reviving the junkies that OD four times a week.

I don't think it's just weak men it's rather that many people live in the West a life where they have it too good. The problem is that there are real obstacles and hard things in life. People nowadays live in comfort and in principle have little reasons to worry or get active to work for. Because there are no fundamental life threatening problems people create arbitrary problem and think how it would be to be this or that.

My biological father walked away from my mom, so I am grateful for my grandfather, and some fantastic uncles to help set examples for me. I'm probably not as alpha as some guys out there, but I'm trying to pass on good traits to my boys.

@Soteris. Those same types of men led us to and through the industrial revolution, industrialization and manufacturing, the global economies, and every significant development in human history. Yes, it's been a bumpy ride at times, but you will NEVER convince men that weak men are a positive force.

@love_conquers_lust divorce is almost final. She and I have separate lives but she has full custody, I have visitation. I have to see her constantly. Divorce is devastating to kids. Yes, I’ll do a lot for the sake of my kids. Soon they’ll be on their own and we’ll have almost no reason to see each other again. Having parents that hate each other is not a good thing. Being amiable is a huge blessing for the stability of our children and sets a better example for them as well.
You don't have to see her constantly, not if you're not the sole provider anymore. So that stability can't come from you anymore. As in, you shouldn't have a problem with whoever she moves on with raising your kids with you out of the picture. As in they'll discipline and rear them how they see fit. Yes, I just went to a big wedding there were dozens of young guys there. They all looked like snowflakes. I shook hands with many and really paid attention to handshakes. Just about all of them had weak handshakes and also had soft hands.
