What you attribute Florida becoming a red state when it what always considered a toss up i. e. swing state, now has officially become a red state?

Obama won Florida twice, Trump won it twice; but Florida hasn't had a Democrat governor since the 90's which is over two decades ago and nearly all of Florida's state legislators are all Republicans as well.

Easy. In recent years, when Covid happened and the lockdowns were unfolding, many GOP'ers living in blue states moved here to FL, so did I.

In fact, we've had hundreds of thousands of people who moved here during that time. NY alone lost upwards of 400,000 people - these were mostly people who objected to the shutdown and the vaccine mandate, so basically, they were not hardcore radicals/commies, these were people in the center. Traditional DEMS, and GOP voters.

Factor in that FL has always had 2A friendly laws, that's another reason why people leave blue states to live here. So, the laws and the leadership have attracted such voters, and it became a very RED state.

So, to me whenever a state goes Red, it plain and simple. Dems have doubled down and woke, and LGBTQ... and people are rejecting the social contrasts they are so desperately trying to push on us.

They want to pretend that if only we really understood, then we would totally get it. The problem is that his, him, he, her, we, them, theirs, they and all the other words have meant the same thing for 1000s of years.
