What happens to rich people under socialism?

Yeah, this is true. Nothing much would happen other than a slight adjustment to their lifestyle. They'd even be able to keep most of their lifestyle under socialism - if they make the effort to arrange their finances and lifestyle around those parts they want to keep.

It's very true that blanket eating the rich isn't a talk solution. What's needed is a whole systemic revolution and that would mean billionaires can't exist due to exploitation.

It's hard to see a benefit to keeping the billionaire class around. When they were millionaires they were more productive to society. After that point, their usefulness and productivity take huge dives. Just look at Elon Musk's $44B bet on Twitter and Zuck's whole "revolutionary" new feature of legs in his Second Life/VRChat reboot attempt.

That all said, I am still very okay with literally eating Musk. But only after he trains and actually fights Zuck. I feel like he'd just be gristle, fat, and whatever weird implants or filler he has in his barrel of a torso right now. He needs to slim down to look appealing to eat.

The titles change, but the character of wealth hoarders does not. Socialism just creates a different type of wealthy tyrant.
